LTS Vet Rewards Now Live, New VTOL & Costume in the D-Store

Champions! A few days ago we announced an upcoming change to Veteran Rewards. We?re happy to announce that today all Lifetime Subscribers will start receiving all Veteran Rewards!

Read more about it here.

We also added a few new items to the D-Store. A new Akema VTOL Jet and Armadillo Costume pieces.

    Any chance we'll be getting a LTS sale, like STO is currently enjoying?

    The changes are awesome, but let's make them an offer they can't refuse!

    Apparently the Avian pack was so lack luster it caused The_Last to rage quit. So I wouldnt worry about it :P

    What this man said. The last LTS sale CO got was around the beginning of free to play. That's when I stopped subbing regularly and bought an LTS to CO. STO had a sale at the same time and I also grabbed one there.

    Since then, this is the 3rd STO LTS sale I've seen and CO has never received another one. Come on, throw the CO people a bone on this one please.

    Excluding people using the chest armor to make space marine homages and what not I've seen somewhere in the neighborhood of five toons noticeably using the set since it's introduction.

    I suspect that if a LTS sale ever happens, it will be when nothing else is going on. They are already making LTS rewards granted up front now. They won't tack on another deal until the sales from this one dies down.

    And if not many people buy into it now, there's a chance there won't be an LTS sale later because numbers will show there isn't much interest in it.

    Its kind of funny/sad that they didnt even bother to update their website:

    Q: What if I'm a Lifetime Subscriber?
    A: If you are a Lifetime Subscriber, you will still need to wait 100 days from the day you purchased your Lifetime Subscription to be eligible for the 100 Day Veteran Rewards, 200 days for the 200 Day Veteran Rewards, and so on.

    Anyone with an LTS (and or already subscribed over 1000 days) able to log in and see if your vet rewards are functioning properly? Getting some reports of odd behavior including rewards vanishing for LTSes who had them already.

    I believe that was during mid-April 2011 around the US tax deadline. The interesting thing is that it's been a little less than 1000 days since that sale ended. I wonder if the timing is just a coincidence...

    And for those of us LTS from when it was first offered. Can we have some of the earlier costumes you had in the works (Archery comes to mind)

    Nope, you've had access to costume sets that even Launch Day Golds still don't have access to now. Use em, love em, and enjoy em. That and, of course, you've had The Ultimate F2P CO for how long now? I'd say it payed off well for you. I would be in the same boat except for certain mistakes on the part of Cryptic but, oh well, can't go back and change that. Maybe CN will give me an incentive to join this LTS club some day. :cool:

    We may make those costumes at some point, but at this point, there are no plans to.
