Listen carefully I will explain the new offense maths.

Using the Smurf/Badger offense conversion you can see that Mumm Ra is bigger than Megatron ( its a perspective thing) Pie is bigger than Bacon, and it's not until you realize Bert and Ernie live together that you actually see that Big Bird doesnt give a S?$T! he just wants to hang with his homies. One thing to consider is that 100% of each of the previous numbers is 100% gob poo.

Hope this clears things up.

Translated from Nepht (and with fuzzy numbers because I'm not cool enough to use actual numbers): *

Before, you had 100 damages after all your superstats and your passive were added up. You added 200 Offense, which showed as "30%" but actually only gave you 5 damages. Your total was 105 damages.

Your friend had a defensive passive, and had 80 damages after superstats and passive and whatnot. He added 200 Offense, which showed up as "30"% but gave him an additional 20 damages. His total was 100 damages, which was less than yours and makes him a bad person. However, he ate enemy damages for you, so you're still friends even though he's a dirty defensive passive user that doesn't support your EXTREME HYBRID lifestyle.

Now, with the new numbers, you have 100 damages after all your superstats and passive are added up. You add 200 Offense, which now shows as "7.4%". WTF, that should mean less damages since the number's smaller, right? Not really. That 7.4% ends up actually adding 7 damages, so your new total is 107 damages, higher than your old 105 damages.

Your friend, the defensive passive user, has 80 damages after superstats and passive and whatnot. He adds 200 Offense, which now shows up as 7.4%. This gives him only an additional 5 damages, meaning his total's at 85 damages.

*(with apologies to people that are good at math, especially Cryptic math. I am not.)

    TL; DR version:

If you're using any combination of two from an Offensive Passive, a damage toggle and the Wardicator/Guardicator specs, you're likely to see an increase in damage.

If you're only using an offensive toggle with a Defensive Passive, you might not see an increase in damage.

If your only form of damage buff is from your superstats, you're probably a support character, and therefore you don't care because you're too busy fending off accusations of "ruining the game for hybrids" and "making CO into a trinity-based WoW clone". You're sad either way.

I have to agree with Foxi on this. I've been throwing boomerangs at people all day with zero offence and they all fall over.

    Neither does this guy.

Actually, Tom Dickson is a genius and he seems to know what he's doing.
