With the upcoming change to the Vet Rewards being front loaded for the LTS, I figured it would be a good time for them to unveil some new vet rewards...maybe starting at the 1500 day mark.
Vet Reward 1500 Day
-Title- Defender of Detroit
+ 100 Drifter Salvage
+ All Weapon Skins that were lost during the On Alert change
+ Defender's Tights - which include his chest tights, legs, boots and gloves. His helmet is not included, and remains NPC only...
Vet Reward 2K Day
-Title- Old Timer
+100 Drifter Salvage
+2 Free Character Slots
+Energy Glide Travel Power - this was suggested by somebody else (basically the Energy Slide but with the ability to fly)
+ The Cyber Katana weapon skin and back costume piece (the weapon from the Cyber Ninja Device).
any way those are just my ideas on how to expand the vet rewards...since some people are hitting the 1500 day mark and a few are well past it...
+ All Weapon Skins that were lost during the On Alert change
While i don't want to wait that long, having only just hit the 700 day mark a week or so ago, i'ts /signed from me for that alone (though i'd rather pay cash in the store to get some of them early, especially the rest of the Qular weapons I don't yet have) and many of the rest of the ideas are good ones too.

You do realize that veteran rewards are a thing of the past now. If anything they may add more to LTS rewards to encourage players to by into it. Waiting for more rewards beyond the first thousand days is not going to happen anymore.

Veteran Rewards are and always have been a bad idea, both here and in other games.
Locking desirable content, regardless of its nature behind the length of time you have been playing sounds fine to people who are close to or past the threshold, but new players seeing that there's things that they cannot get for five and a half years (that's roughly 2000 days) is aggrivating at the very least. One might say that that's alleviated now with the instant unlock for Lifers, but to the new player, that just looks like an attempt to get someone to pay $300 for a costume part.
Veteran rewards should never be things that cannot be purchased. Retcon tokens, costume slots, bag slots, a bigger bag than what's normally available, account bank slots, theHeroic Resonance device, increased stipend and so on are things that should be used as Vet Rewards. These are all things that can be purchased, either with cash or in-game currency, or minorly improved versions. Access to the VIP room is also acceptable; it isn't much more than a hub - everything in there is available elsewhere, just scattered out, except the VIP pass and one Action figure.
Costume parts, travel powers, Action Figures and other cosmetic items should all be made available in the cash store, or in-game. If you want to give costumes as Vet Rewards, either bonus Zen or special tokens redeemable for costume sets should be given.
Especially in a game that's as much about customization as this one is, nobody should be told "You cannot make the character you want until you wait X years, or pay $300 to bypass the arbitrary time gate."

^^^This. Also, Cryptic seemingly abandoned any vet rewards past 1000 days. Even in STO.

let's not forget that Costumes like AVIAN WARRIOR PACK! SHOULDN'T be veteran rewards in the first place
In matter of fact originally AVIAN WARRIOR PACK! was aimed to be C/Z Store costume part BEFORE ALERTS hit like a Thunder (2 years ago a Dev told me ingame F.A.Q that they were going to put in in C-STORE)
Unfortenly I don't remember the DEV's name or have Screenshot of the F.A.Q since back then I was casually playing CO
Limited a player to play as RACE he desire is UNACEPTABLE
at least now they dropped this You Have to Wait 900 Days BS BUT STILL!
No Sane Human Being would pay 300 bucks and wait 2 FREAKING YEARS to play as an ANIMAL character he wants!
What next? Putting LION BESTIAL HEADS for Veterans as well?
Also on the Suggestion of veterans unlocking ALL THE COSTUME SKINs, is horrible
Those costumes skins were PART of the game mission reward Core, they should NOT be given to only Privileged members
POWERFRAME REVAMPS, NEW POWERS and BUG FIXES > Recycled Content and Events and even costumes at this point Introvert guy who use CO to make his characters playable and get experimental with Viable FF Theme builds! Running out of Unique FF builds due to the lack of updates and synergies! Playing since 1 February 2011 128 + Characters (21 ATs, 107 FFs) ALTitis for Life!
The only way I would say vet rewards were a good idea is if you gained vet points for spending money on the game. Even a silver player could earn rewards by simply buying stuff. Gold means you get rewards much faster. And you could spend those vet points on any of the vet rewards.
It would encourage people to spend money on the game, especially if they think "hey, I only need to spend X dollars to get enough points for this".

actually I like that idea, Sterga. And to others, I'm aware that they've stopped caring about Vet Rewards after 1k, but I figured what the hell why not expand it a little bit.
Sure the weapon unlocks should be available to all players as they were many blood-moons ago. But they also have to have a financial incentive to do so...
Like many have suggested make a Melee Weapons Pack 2 and include all of the lost melee weapon skins and a Ranged Weapons Pack 2 which coincidentally includes all of the Ranged Weapon Skins...and while they're looking at the weapon skins maybe hook up a few of the Assault Rifle skins to the Particle Rifle skins...
