Wondering if there as a feasible build dealing with these two. I'm really wanting to make one to go along with my Avatar of Ares character, but it's tricky balancing it. I was looking at the heavy damage the Devastator can dish out, along with the dots Inferno can place. Only lvl 20 atm, so can't get very far in the building process, but I was looking toward the future. Anybody have any help on this, or is it a lost cause?

If you use END as a superstat you can get Thermal Reverberation as an energy unlock.
That, combined with fully charged Pyre for the fire patch and probably also Flashfire gives a nice mini set of fire powers that are useful for a melee hero.
If you wish to have some range you can add Fireball with advantage.

Obviously these are retcon builds, not leveling ones.
STR or END primary, depending on which specialization tree and mastery you prefer. I went with Invulnerability in Hybrid role, but if you prefer to sacrifice some survivability for more offense, you could easily go with Melee role and Way of The Warrior.
Heavy Weapons has many powers with advantages that will sacrifice Rank 3 of the power for a 10% chance of applying the Burning Flames condition, but as an AoE with a 100% chance of inflicting it, Flashfire renders all those advantages obsolete. Snap your fingers, set everyone on fire, lunge, and by the time you're in melee range, your energy bar will be full or close to it. Flashire and Brimstone wipes out the henchmen, and Cleave>Cleave>Cleave>Annihilate will take care of the villain. I went with Cleave instead of Eruption, because even though it's an AoE, the single-target damage to time/energy ratios favor Cleave.
Of some possible relevance is this post from TurboRaptor's build dump. Probably not exactly what you were looking for, but might still have some use as a reference.
