You guys were so great helping with my first character I thought I'd get your advice on my second. Then I'll be done making threads for a good while, promise.
I'm looking for advice on The Frog Prince (a.k.a "Frog. James Bond Frog"). He's standing next to a handy collections officer for scale.
Any advice? I would LOVE to be able to put a tophat on him, but bestial heads apparenlty can't have hats. (Why in the world not?) I'm pretty sure I'll be making the flower in his lapel red. I'd love to get some spats on those tentacled feet, but not sure how to attempt it.
2) -- not a costume question, but what Archetype do you think would fit him best? I've got him as Unleashed now, and boy does he look cute with his two little swords -- but the forcefield powers he'll be getting soon won't fit. Blade would be better (but sadly squishier). Or Specialist, and I could give him a shoulder holster for more of a James Bond feel and less of a Frog Prince. Or straight Soldier, or Night Avenger maybe. Unfortunately, all the Archetypes that fit him best are pretty fragile, and I hate fragile more than anything. Any thoughts?

Because they're too darn awesome.
Yes, that's what I was going for. Frogs in tophats? What's not to love?
other than that its cool.
1, Why a tail? Doesn't seem frog-like.
2, There's a webbed hand option FYI
3, You can use flippers as frog-like feet: they look much better than the cthulhu feet.

1. True, he's more frog-ish than frog. His tail just looks cool twirling around back there through the slit in his swallowtail jacket. His face isn't terrible expressive, but his tail is. Maybe I should try deleting it. This would allow me to wear a cape, as well, which could match the jacket. Is it possible to get two-toned capes? One color on the inside and one on the outside?
2. I tried the webbed hands, but the webbing is difficult to see in real life. Also the tentacled hands went better with his tentacled feet, which leads to...
3. I went to the flippers first, but they look like diver's flippers more than frog feet. They're too long for any frog, only have three toes, etc. The tentacles have the right arc and shape to look like a frog's foot, even if there are a few too many "toes."
Ah...that's something I hadn't tried. I'll give it a go!
Cool. I in fact have the Devestator AT already from that Alienware promotion. I'd thought they were super squishy with no heals and so many attacks. I do like knockback and Enrage more than crits and Focus, so that might be a really good idea. I wonder if the animations and feel would be too brutal smashy for a dandly little guy like this one? Definitely worth thinking about.
The Devastator actually DOES have heals, they're just somewhat hidden.
The first is Quick Recovery from the Strength Tree, which makes you heal 0.2 x Recovery HP once every 3 seconds. It's not that spectacular unless you really focus on your Recovery Stat.
The second is the Endorphin Rush advantage on Enrage. Every time you gain a stack of Enrage, you'll get a 6 second Heal Over Time that heals 0.6 x Constitution once every three seconds.
Combine that with Juggernaut from the Strength Tree and a focus on Constitution (for max HP and to boost the Def from Juggernaut), and you'll be pretty sturdy. As an added bonus, you get a tiny amount of Damage Absorption from Unstoppable.

Yes. It's set to BOTH as default.
