Colors challenge

If you think this is a reference to a Sean Penn movie, then you're an old fart like me.
But that's not important right now. What is important is my aversion to....you guessed it colors.
As you can see in my costume thread, most of my designs are pretty dark. Some of it is due to the nature of the character, but most of it is due to my lack of imagination when it comes to oranges, yellows, purples, etc., etc. -- especially when it comes to texturing.
My latest design is no different:
So here's the challenge -- re-color this toon. Ok, so it's not much of a "challenge", but whatever. Costume files are below, I'd love to see your suggestions (feel free to do as few or many as you like)

Cool suggestions, thanks. The green is kinda working for me. I would not have thought about that.
You can match colors (like your original concept), change the hue to an adjacent hue on the color wheel, or the direct opposite color on the color wheel, or change the shade (lighter or darker) in the main color of your outfit. So, here's kind of all that thrown onto one of your costumes:
