Just a quick inquiry Answers are appreciated

I have been taking a break from the game since december of 2012 due to a few reasons which have annoyed me to no end, mostly due to the games broken and easily abuse-able /ignore system and that was just scratching the surface. I digress though I hope that stuff is at least fixed. Has the game improved for the better or has new content been added? I am asking because when I come back I aim to re-sub and am wondering if it will be worth the time again.
If anybody knows what has been done this year it would be great. Also how is the server population doing now, is the game still active is there still a sizable amount of people playing? Are vehicles viable, is the staff active? As in if I had to page a gm about something will I get a response within a good amount of time? Any input into this thread will be appreciated. No flames either I am simply wondering if the game has improved upon it self since I left in the first place.

    Yes, we have a new development team, we've had a few new pieces of content - not huge but it's something, currently they're working on fixing bugs and doing some balancing, and they have improved the /ignore chat ban system.

    1. PWE login is compulsory now, so If you haven't linked, then contact customerservice@perfectworld.com and ask them to link yours.

    theres more vehicle weapons available now.

    theres more vehicles in the drifter store.

    the demon and lemurian recog costumes have finally been fixed, so they unlock per acct now.

    get a response from a GM? no idea.

    from Customer service? email usually(for me) gets a response within a day. Mostly the automated one. Due to NW, the CS team get flooded. they have however sorted out any problems I have.

    we have some interesting new mini events(and a stinker)some of which the vehicles are actually useful for. The 2 precursor ones for Cybermind are active full time. you can get them from socrates.

    Currently we have Bloodmoon up .


    On the PTS, a new rampage alert is currently being groaned about, 2 opponents with massive damage attacks
    LTS on PTS is getting all its bits upfront.

    Yeah you cant get muted for being ignored now only with report. If I have read things right in zone >_>

    The chat ban system is still in place. Why just yesterday a certain special someone was chat banned by the community. Again.

    During bloodmoon there were 5 channels routinely active in M-City. Take that as you will.

    Vehicles are viable. I use mine as a travel power, but I hear some people actually use them to kill things.

    You don't really page gms here. You put in a ticket and then you wait. It's probably more or less like what you remember from the last time you played. Certain specific issues seem to get a quicker response.

    I made a report about an exploit being used and got a GM response in a timely manner.

    I made some suggestions for the game that got made over the last two years.
    That's something.

    I was actually just taking a guess since I noticed I didn't see that person in chat yesterday evening and found it strange. Guess it's not a guess anymore and the chat ban system is still in effect though for whatever reason not as...prominent as it was before.

    He wasn't actually talking about you. When he said "lucid", he was commenting on a specific person that he assumed was the person you saw getting chat banned.

    The chat ban system is still in place, but they somehow made it less prone to be abused.

    I don't believe the Avalanche has been changed at all, but I could be wrong. Others might know better.

    New content I mean new missions, new alerts. But yes there have also been new powers added and more are in the planning stages.

    They haven't said. Most likely because if they did let the details out there, it would hint at how it could continue to be abused. But the reality of it is since they did whatever it is they did, we haven't had many/any posts about being chat banned on the forums, whereas before they would show up all the time.

    The current reigning chat ban champions are Caliga and Lucidity, I'm not sure who is currently ahead.

    I'm still failing to receive even 1 chat ban, oh well can't be good at everything(or if you've seen some of my builds, anything)

    Ive seen Vizzy about hanging near the tailor and stuff it seems he just doesnt do zone when on other toons .

    It's very easy, just state in zone 'Wolverine sucks!' or that 'Deadpool is a poor copy of Deathstroke'. Either that or host a furry costume contest. :tongue:
