So you want dinos with lasers in space? That would be STO once the next season goes live.

Dinosaurs with lasers in space would be Star Hero, the higher powered champions games

250 +disadvs for high powered supers,
    about 600+ for star hero
Stuffing up Freeform builds since Mid 2011

one that gets regular new zones, powers and costumes? dinosaurs are cool, its one thing I liked about co, it has dinos, with it had more types, but it dinos are so conic for comics, its funny its really the only of the superhero mmos that really ran with it.

incidentally spinny, have you played the saints row 4 dlc? its relevant.

Champions Online powers and costume options
+ Far Cry 3 'living' open world, vehicles and physics
+ Prototype open world city size and detail
+ Fallout 3 combat: target-location select and/or first or third person , but...
+ Killing Floor's melee attacks and speed and ability to jump forward and hack and crouch all in the same reflex.
+ Killing Floor's six man teams from lobby's of private servers
+ all this as a $50 SDK for Unity

Would probably look like Project Awakened so...that right there would be a good start.

Oh and flight and flight combat would work like Vendetta-Online.
And there was an RTS mode like Homeworld.
And PVP was like Unreal Tournament with pick up powers with limited use/ammo/shield power. etc.

Hell yeah, would look just like Project Awakened - stillborn with a failed Kickstarter.

Have you all seen Saints Row IV?
That's what a perfect Champions Online would look like, with bigger co-op teams.

Vehicles that act like vehicles, instant transition from one super travel power to
the next instead of having to 'impotentize' to a limp walk first, infinite costume design.
Writing that keeps you laughing and intrigued.

3000 players currently online that paid at least $20 instead of 300 of which maybe 1% paid $15.

Sales that pull the population numbers right up instead of constantly bleeding it out.

    Success is attractive.

The kickstarter may have failed but it is still being developed or atleast they still plan to develop it, through Steam's Greenlight program.

Personally It would be a leveling path of 10-15 themed instances more or less like Comic Series. With maybe 30 to choose from so a tech character could avoid magic oriented stories or whatever. Basically making it more like a comic book.

But cutesy raving dino's in space works too. Although with the new costume set that's possible. I guess CO is already perfect?

Better graphics (they are starting to look dated), Foundry with a robust searching/matching system (IE: not like STO/NW), dev activity/posts.
    Campaign: The Fenwick Cycle NWS-DKR9GB7KH

Wicks and Things: NW-DI4FMZRR4 : The Fenwick merchant family has lost a caravan! Can you help?

Beggar's Hollow: NW-DR6YG4J2L : Someone, or something, has stolen away many of the Fenwicks' children! Can you find out what happened to them?

Into the Fen Wood: NW-DL89DRG7B : Enter the heart of the forest. Can you discover the secret of the Fen Wood?

An individual character power level like we had during the beta and the head-start prior to Roper's nerfs on launch day.

I'd say the ability to make a small vampire bat character that had fairly good bat proportions and ran like a vampire bat really runs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWOUZAa5vlQ but then you just adjusted leg sliders and i discovered the beast animation on Acrobatics so now i have that!

Hmmm... give me flapping arms flight or an arms-out flight at all speeds so those with wing-bracers can have a more effective flight power option next please :)

Perfection as a static-state is impossible, but a steady rate of perpetual improvement? That's perfection! And right now the pace of fixes and improvements is great, keep it going and i'll stay as happy as i am right now :D
Watch out evil-doers, as something small bloodthirsty and deadly lurks in shadowy places, watching, waiting to strike!
