Yeah, it's me again. This time with some power ideas for our tree-huggers in CO.
Vine Lash
* Melee Energy Builder (0~15 Feet) +All hits have a change to apply Infection
*Ranged Energy Builder (15~50 Feet) +First hit has chance to apply Infection -Longer wait between attacks than Melee Strikes
Poisonous Vines
* 50 Foot Ranged attack that spawns 3 Poisonous Tendrils within 10 Feet of target's location (Uncontrollable Pet). - T2 +Each Tendril deals Toxic Damage to anyone within 15 feet of them. +Each Tendril has a chance to apply Bleed or Deadly Toxin every hit. -15 Second Cooldown
Constricting Vines
* 50 Foot Ranged Attack that applies a Hold+DoT on enemies in a 15 foot sphere. - T2 +DoT is Slashing Damage and comes with the Hold (Damage dealt by the hold does NOT affect how long said hold lasts) +Any Breakfree Damage the held target deals is returned to their health. +Charging this power increases the amount of damage the DoT does.
(Advantage - 2 - Anyone caught by the attack also earns a stack of Infection) -15 Second Cooldown
Recuperation
* 50 Foot Single Target Tap Heal that also applies a HoT buff to allies within 15 feet of the target. - T2 +HoT also reduces damage coming from DoTs.
(Advantage - 2 - HoT heals for a percentage of Max Health instead of a flat amount) -HoT can only be stacked once per person -5 Second Cooldown
Vine Grapple
* 50 Foot Ranged KnockTo - T1 +Infects target, Infection increases Slashing and Toxic damage and deals Toxic Damage over 30 Seconds and stacks up to 10 times. -5 Second Cooldown
Nature's Mist
* 50 Foot Sphere Area of Effect - T2 +Mist Lasts 15 Seconds +Friendly Forces inside the mist receive a Heal over Time and Energy over Time +Enemies inside have reduced Perception and can become randomly Held -15 Second Cooldown
Thorn Shield
* Block +Applies normal Bleed to Melee Attackers +Chance to apply a Root to Melee Attackers
(Advantage - 1 - Melee Attackers have a chance to return energy every hit)
Nature's Gift
* 50 Foot Single Target Energy Synergy Buff - T3 +Any time you gain energy, your buffed ally gains the same amount and when your ally gains energy you gain half. Any time this happens, you both receive a small buff which improves Defense and Damage and stacks up to 30 times +Is a Toggle and lasts for a minute. - 45 Second Cooldown
Nature's Charm
* Support Passive +Increases Pet's Damage, Pet's Healing, and Pet's Resistance (Power of this trait is increased in the Hybrid Role) +Increases Tangible Hold Strength (Shares the same strength across Roles) +Nearby Allies (50 Feet) are Healed over Time and receive a Perception Buff (Power of this trait is increased in the Support Role) +Nearby Enemies (25 Feet) deal Reduced Damage and have Reduced Defense (Power of this trait is increased in the Support Role)

Outbreak
* 50 Foot Ranged attack that spawns a large plant (Uncontrollable Pet) at Target's Location - T3 +The plant roots itself into the ground and uses it's vines to randomly Snare and Infect enemies within a 25 foot sphere to it +The plant can produce a spore cloud, which can make enemies within a 25 foot sphere around it become held in a coughing fit and receive a stack of Neuro-Spores +The plant is capable of using Vine Grapple against targets farther away +Neuro-Spores deals Toxic Damage over time and decrease the resistance to Toxic and Crushing damage +The plant also uses Vine Burst with the advantage. +The plant lasts 20 seconds. +Should the plant expire or die, it will explode and deal massive Toxic Damage
(Advantage - 3 - This monster refuses to go down, increasing its Health and Defense and lasts the entire duration of the fight) -30 second Cooldown -The plant can be attacked
Vine Assault
* 50 Foot Ranged 25 Degree Cone Maintained attack - T1 +Every hit has a chance to apply Infected +Damage increases the longer it is maintained
(Advantage - 2 - Every hit has a chance to apply a root) -Energy cost increases the longer it is maintained
Plant Cage
* Active Defense - T2 +Creates a wall of brush around you, damaging and attempting to hold nearby enemies. Enemies affected have a chance to become Infected +Attacks against you are sponged by your brush -45 second Cooldown
Call of Nature
* Spawns a swarm of Butterflies (Uncontrollable Pet) which seeks out injured allies applies a HoT buff to allies within a 10 foot sphere around it - T3 +The HoT buff has a small chance to give a small amount of energy +Has a chance to spawn a Raven (Uncontrollable Pet), which has a chance to apply Bleed on enemies every attack and a chance to cause blindness (Hold) if the strike is Critical (50% Chance to Blind on Crit, 15% Chance to Crit) +The pets last 15 seconds +Rank 2 creates another Butterfly Swarm and the Raven will always spawn. Rank 3 creates another Raven and now Ravens will always Blind on Crit. -30 second Cooldown -The pets can be attacked

The Druid (Innate Talent) +10 to Pre (Primary SS), End (Secondary SS), Int (Secondary SS) +8 to Dex +5 to all other stats
Vine Whip
* 50 Foot Single Target Combo - Starter +Chance to apply Infection which increases every subsequent strike +Final hit from the combo applies Infection to target

Vine Burst
* 25 Foot Charged PBAoE - T1 +Chance to apply Infection based on how long the skill is charged (33~100%) +Enemies hit become held which acts similarly to Constricting Vines
(Advantage - 2 - Anyone who escapes the hold is knocked to you and receive a snare. -5 second Cooldown
Infection Rules +Applying Infection on a target already affected by Bleed increases the stacks of Infection applied on the target. Multiple Bleeds cause Multiple Infections. +Each stack reduces resistance to Toxic and Slashing damage and deals Toxic Damage over 30 Seconds +Stacks up to 10 times
well i meant more like a full circle around you and not so much a cone. but cones would be cool too. really there's alot of potential in a set like this.

Plant Cage
* Active Defense - T2
+Resistance to all damage increases slightly
+Resistance to Crushing damage increases moderately
+Toxic Damage is absorbed and returns health to you
+Enemies caught near your cage become entangled and start to bleed
+Anyone caught bleeding near your cage gives you an Energy over time buff
-You are Rooted
-45 second Cooldown
Should include a 2 point advantage similar to what Ice Barrier does to remove the self root. Otherwise...
Plant Powers = Awesome. I noticed that the 'infection' rules play off of bleeds. I suppose that would make this work well with Bestial Supernatural, huh?
Hey, you could even give Cairngorn Stoneblood some ACTUAL druid powers now! Hooray!

/signed and I completely agree. Plant powers are very lacking in CO. I know since I saw CoH's Nature Affinity, I've -really- wanted plant powers in CO (these and water, but that's a subject for another thread).
It'd be nice to have some things other than Vine Swinging to use with the plant themed costume set!
And perhaps it could be done with a few ooze powers to make swamp characters and Roin'Esh characters etcetera.

Creeping Vines: You summon vines that creep on the ground and act as a pet dealing damage and holding enemies (Diablo II Druid ability).
Photosynthesis: A heal-over-time effect power you can add to allies.
Here's other ideas. Power involving trees (Bark Shield?), power involving flowers.
