GLITCHED MISSION: 'The Quandary of Quan Qi'

On one of my alts the mission 'The Quandary of Quan Qi' is apparrently permanently glitched. It's only happened on this one character, my other alts all finished the mission without this issue popping up.
A few days ago I killed the red banner guys near her and then selected her to turn in the mission, before I could click on the continue button however the patrol Magician came along and I had to fight it off. While I was fighting him another player came in and talked to her and she started walking off with them.
When she got to the destination safely it gave me credit for finishing up the escort mission, without giving me the reward or credit for the meetup. Now that meetup mission is permanently stuck in my active mission list. When I try to free her from her captors she just stays on the floor cowerring in fear with no yellow ? mark over her head. When I try to drop the mission nothing happens and it remains on my active mission list.
I've tried leaving and coming back to her. I've tried rezoning. I've tried changing maps then changing back. I've tried logging off and on. I even tried coming back on multiple different days. Nothing ever changes. It's permanently stuck in my active missions list instead of completed missions list.
PS: GM's it's on my char Bloodied Rose if you need to check it out. You'll see it listed that she has the Quandary mission active but the after mission listed as complete.

I avoided this one for a long time in teams because it would goof up like this.
Someone would get it stuck in their journal and we'd all have to run the damn thing again to keep them from crying.

As in I can't "open your journal a drop the mission."
It was about a month ago, i can't quite recall what fixed it but I remember that it needed a team. Might have been sharing the mission with a friend and having them clear the area, so then you could finish the mission.
Try this. I might be wrong but my memory is lacking right now on it.

I've had that happen with other missions. In each case, the mission was dependant on another. For example, the sub missions in the UNITY missions, or in Adventure Packs like the Recon mission in Serpent Lantern.
Check your list to see if you have another mission from the same chain that you can drop, that might take the mission along with it.
If that doesn't work, I have no idea what else to suggest.
