What's next?

    Oh wow.. Xeno Action Figure sounds neat. Surprised that it wouldn't be the first prize though, but I am certainly not complaining. :redface:

    There is one thing you miss when you say this.

    If there were enough people in the game the diversity of builds could be immense.

    Did you know there is a way of making shields disappear in a second? There is also ways of slowing people down to nothing and then putting anyone's resistance to 0 no matter who they are. The problem is it doesn't work in 1 vs 1.

    As I said if there were enough people in the game to create many 5 man teams you could actually make some pretty interesting combinations as you'd be thinking 5x the customization of builds. Of course everyone would need one person with ebon ruin and one person with AOPM but other than that no more is really needed.

    People just go into BASH and duel though so they don't understand this. ;)

    If you have two healers then the healers, one with AOPM another with AORP you'll buff your team more by having high pre while also having both healers heal each other to be un-killable. Then you can have one debuff character, by that I mean every stupid debuff you can get including all the snaring things and that to make people move at 10% pace while hitting less, healing less and if this person uses manipulator then having a stun that can be 6-8 seconds will help and stop the healer from doing anything. Then all you need is 2 dps who can chain their combo's and kill people, they don't really need any self heals as they have two healers healing them. ;)

    Totally killable. After making Xeno and Penny ragequit out of Zombie Apocalyse with a team of 5, we then started a round of kickball style random team drafts for 5v5 PvP team duels. Went on for several hours that night. While the team my healer was on won a lot, you CAN be killed, it's all about teamwork skill, personal skill, and use of the right combos at the right time. In other words, it's a lot like playing a multiplayer teamplay shooter, which is something I enjoy a lot.

    Xeno's action figure, extreme globals/gold rewards, and steak knives belie his bitter sarcasm, but in all honestly team PvP is a good thing and should be encouraged. Would take the boredom edge off. And frankly, builds tailored for dueling with the usual Flavor-of-the-Month stuff tend to not excel in team PvP like they would in 1v1 dueling.

    Now if they'd only fix Stronghold's bugged turrets, make some new PvP maps (same game types, but new maps), and give a 2000 Questionite ore daily mission for PvP queues, you might even see Xeno smile.

    You can definitely kill two healers supporting each other, but it usually takes some debuffs and some cc procs.

    I see no harm in allowing healers in 5v5 since I would expect them.

    Best amount of healers in team are one or none.:rolleyes:
    2 Healers or more in team are too low in DPS.

    Soulstar and I used to do some pretty neat things back in the day on dual support 5mans, when he was AoRP and I was AoPM (or was it the other way around?) and running Mission's TK lance build. Until my ADD kicked in and someone gibbed me because I stopped bubbling myself. >.>

    It's bugged as hell, tried it a week ago and it really is random. Paired with rimefire, it hits like a SR.

    It's bugged as hell, tried it a week ago and it really is random. Paired with rimefire, it hits like a SR.

    Yes, it is bugged as hell.

    Basically what it does is this:

    Containment Field, Field Surge, Personal Force Field, Protection Field Energy Refraction and basically ANY containment field you can generate is classed as an Containment Field for the purposes of Energy Storm.

    This means it can remove and suppress shields for 4-6 seconds.

    If applied to PFF it will devalue the shield to either a very minimal number (dependant on rank) or flat out remove the shield and apply "Energy Drain" to the target.

    Energy Drain Debuff deactivates all and ANY shields you may try to apply to self instantly whilst the debuff is active.

    E.g. PFF passive + Energy Storm = Oh no! PFF is gone! *Player realises they have access to Field Surge and Protection Field and Energy Refraction* I know! I'll use my three shields to save me! ACTION DENIED Result? Field Surge, Protection Field, Energy Refraction are all consumed within .2 sec (almost instantly) of activation, this will persist for the entire debuff duration.

    This effect cannot be blocked, this effect cannot be mitigated by dodge. The devaluing of PFF will persist for a while.

    This power realistically should only work on Protection Field and Energy Refraction. NOT PFF and Field Surge.

    In short it is a buggy but valuable tool for team PvP if you are targeting bubble healers.

    Note: If you want it to do higher damage, try pairing it with Electric Form, since it is particle damage. (To increase crit severity of this power include chill debuff on target and absorb this along with Negative Ions for chaining damage, Containment Field for damage debuff, Fire for AoE dmg :tongue:)

    Now you have read a chunk of information which has no application to PvP XD

    EDIT: This also works with Force Cascade Rank 2 + Containment Blast Advantage (the force field derived from this is a containment field)
