Still possible to get nightsticks?

I was hoping to make a Dual Blade char that didnt use such big/over the top weapons, something smaller, like dual sai, tantos, or, I read that there was a Nightstick weapon model. However, when I tried looking for it in the tailor, no such luck. Still around, or am I stuck with only the choices, free or paid, in the tailor?

    You can find them in the adventure pack Resistance. They drop off of New Harmon Education Facility Guards.

    Is it a item unlock, tradeable, or able to buy from the auction house? Just wondering.

    As drgmstr said, they drop from the prison guards at Resistance and yes, they're tradeable so you can try your luck at the Auction House

    Thanks for the heads up. I am curious why they dont have smaller weapon models though. I mean, even the Kris dagger model is a full size sword.

    Because Cryptic thought it would be a good idea to not add a knife framework.

    Seriously, if enemies can wield knives, why not us?

    You can make weapons smaller by decreasing your hand size.

    The official answer was, the knives, as short that they are, don't fit/look right with blade animations.
    I'm too lazy to dig it up.

    They are a really common drop and really easy to get. I trashed my last two because it wasn't even worth popping it in ah.

    Worst case, you could always repeat the third part of resistance until you got one, wouldn't take long at all, especially compared to the gunblades drop.

    [Gunblade] and [Heavy Spiked Axe] seems drop only in elite run.

    The nightsticks are usually for sale in the AH. They might have a level attached to them, so be sure to pick up one that is your character's level or lower.

    The New Shadows blades are smaller than the Kris, and are as about as close to a dagger as you can get on a character.

    I duoed Resistance last week and only got 1 nightstick. My girlfriend got two. TASERS, on the other hand...

    All disguise device have overseers disable stun gun. Not so hard running around.
