Bring back crafting! Sort of...

I think they should bring back something similar to the old crafting system, but just for crafting devices. it could give us something more to do with our 40s, farming materials to craft some epic device or other, imagine for instance a device that combines nimbus of force with necrullitic elixir! team is healed and shielded! (I was thinking have the heal for that go on the whole team for this theoretical device)

it would take work to craft, and of course there would be a cooldown on it so its not abused, but crafting used to be so much fun, I'd like some of the old system to make a return in some way or other.

    It could work so long as the devices have charges, rather then being permanent. I certainly wouldn't mind having a reason to go farm crafting components (especially if they drop off npcs).

    Probably wouldn't want it to be used to make powerful permanent devices, otherwise you risk making people feel like they have to do it, and not everyone enjoys this sort of thing.

    All they had to do was remove the stats, make the costume unlocks still craftable, the power replacers as aura slots, and the devices left alone. There was no reason to ruin crafting for the "superior" mod fusion.

    Some way of getting those old effects and costume unlocks back is really needed and would really help a lot of my characters really look and feel right!

    I always thought they should make a fourth tier of crafting node, that'd require 300 skill but give the same rank 3 mods as the 200 skill ones do. Instead of giving higher rank mods they'd have a chance to drop the old craftable devices and power replacers.

    This is EXACTLY the kind of Exhibition Video I was searching :eek::eek: Holy crap, and I never managed to experience any of those back then because I didn't have any Munition toon :frown:


    we can only hope that they may bring those back those Effects via the future costume auras...

    Every kind of crafting will be better than NO crafting at all, and that is what we now have :frown:

    Heck i would even like to have the old CTP mega-grind back :tongue:
