I can't remember (haven't used the skill in a long while), but iirc Telekinetic Maelstrom has been changed to a maintain which incapacitates while maintained. I'm guessing speccing into increasing its hold duration won't effect it, but hold strength will still effect it right?

Incapacitates (called Maintained Paralyzes before the On Alert patch) are very similar to charged Paralyze holds except that they immediately hold their target.

They all require at least 1 sec maintain before holding a target.

The longer the power is maintained, the more strength the hold has. If a player breaks out of a maintained hold while the other player (or NPC) is maintaining the hold, the targeted player is granted a stack of hold resist and the maintained hold is immediately ended, regardless of maintain time in relation to when the player broke out. Once they have broken out of the maintained hold early, the hold is broken.

Incapacitate Class applies to the following powers:

- Ego Storm
- Heatwave
- Crippling Coils
- Binding of Aratron
- Ego Choke

Telekinetic Maelstrom is a charged attack which stuns on tap and full charge. Stuns are affected by CC increases. Incapacitates are affected by CC increases.

Telekinetic Maelstrom is NOT an Incapacitate.

I think it is a shame that Ego Storm has changed, it was so much better as a Maintained Hold
