About Catalysts.

Hello,

Just a quick question if anyone can help, with catalysts, can i use a rank 9 catalyst to upgrade any level catalyst i have or does it have to be a level 8 before i can upgrade?

If that is the case then that is a waste of money, i want to upgrade my mods and get them all up to level 9, but don't want to put too much money into it.

    Rank 9 catalysts only upgrade rank 8 mods.
    Rank 8 catalysts only upgrade rank 7 mods.
    Rank 7 catalysts only upgrade rank 6 mods.
    Rank 6 catalysts only upgrade rank 5 mods.
    Rank 5 catalysts only upgrade rank 4 mods.
    Rank 4 catalysts only upgrade rank 3 mods.
    Rank 3 catalysts only upgrade rank 2 mods.
    Rank 2 catalysts only upgrade rank 1 mods.

    Harmon Catalysts upgrade any rankable mod to rank 9.

    so do i have to buy each catalyst to upgrade higher? i.e buy catalyst rank 2 and so forth?

    Yes and the catalysts are for only 1 use but they only require 1 mod instead of the usual 5 for regular upgrades.

    No point in upgrading past 7 unless you are bored or have an influx of mods.

    1 catalyst, 1 mod, 1 rank. approximately $90 to rank a mod from5 to 9 using catalysts.

    use skill and safeguard catalysts, its cheaper. 32 pack for $3.50

    yes the prices are extemely high and the ones to rank 6 are also unneccesary.
