Hello I have a few questions about the Lemurian civil war and the Bleak Ones.
1. About the land dwelling lemurians found in Andrithal, this reptilian form theirs, is their original form? Because Vikorin, the Blind, was the first to be able to broke the spell of Andrith the Golden which cursed them with humanoid form right?

2. About the Bleak Ones, are they the Kings of Edom, or are different dimensional entities trapped within the Shining Darkness, with the Kings?

3. The Bleak Minions, are they another cursed form of the Lemurians or do they come from another dimension like the Qliphothic Realm?

While the events of the Lemurian Civil War postdate most of the material on Lemuria published for the PnP game, some of that material is still relevant and sheds light on the situation.

    1) Yes, the reptilian Lemurians are their species' true form. Andrith's spell was intended to extend the Lemurians' lifespan to delay the claiming of their souls by their gods, the Bleak Ones, and in that he succeeded. The Lemurians were originally natural shape-shifters who habitually wore a human appearance to conceal their true nature from humanity. Andrith's spell accidentally robbed them of their shifting and locked them, and their descendants, in human guise.

    2) While the PnP game material never precisely defined the nature of the Bleak Ones, in Champions Online at least two of them are given names which are used in that material for two of the known Kings of Edom, Orogtha and Esleggua.

    3) From the way they appear and are used in the game, it's strongly implied that the Bleak Minions are extra-dimensional Qliphothic creatures, not Lemurians. They were created for CO and haven't appeared in the PnP books.

BTW while CO simplifies the Qliphoth, in the PnP game it's not a single dimension, but rather a host of universes, all ancient and decayed to the point of being totally alien and inimical to life, and even matter and energy, from our universe. The Shining Darkness is only one such dimension. The Qliphoth is inhabited by many beings, including entities of godlike power who may or may not be related to the Kings of Edom, including the Ravens of Dispersion, the gods of the Elder Worm, and Shadow Destroyer's patrons, the "Presences Beyond."
