Release notes for September 12, 20013.

Balance

-Backup! Devices (both permanent and temporary) now summon a Champion who is the same level as the player using the device.

Events

-The Anniversary concert is ending with maintenance.
-The Destroid Invasion event is beginning after maintenance, along with the Drifter's mission for defeating Destroids. This mission rewards Questionite.

Quick question, will boxes stop dropping after the maintenance, since the 'party' is over?

Ill be adding Anniversary Presents to my post on drop rates tomorrow morning.

Spoiler Alert: Expect to open 100-300 presents for the Action Figure; it seems to be a 0.5% drop rate. Note that the AF is the only thing in the box that is Bind on Pickup.

Weird, I got mine after 40 boxes...though as always, this sort of thing is largely chanced based...Then again, I usually have terrible luck :P

It took me over 400 boxes to get my first. My girlfriend got hers on the first present she opened. Later she got two presents from a group of enemies, and both dropped AFs. This was all before she got her 150 presents Perk.

Luck can be cruel.

I'm inclined to believe that the luck of the loot tables favors those who have opened less and played the least. Worse yet, that they are designed this way.

I doubt it lol, I've played quite a lot and get quite lucky.

I got my AF (Madbot) after 23 boxes and then proceeded to get 12 more whilst working towards the 150 Perk.

If they weren't bound I would have happily given them away to people who wanted them.

Stopped counting after 1000, finally got it. Filled up 4-5 pages of bank slots. Haven't opened any since.

If you are running out of space, just use your inbox as a bank.

Each piece of mail to your self can hold five items, and each stack of presents goes to 10. So, 50 presents per mail. Also, the mail is a sort of shared bank for non-bound items.

Not elegant, but it is what I do.

The shark costume pieces Shark Knight must have. Also I got super lucky DJ Madbot AF in first present of the event. Got Hologram Sapphire when I logged in on my main.

Nope, most of my drops were Water Balloons, giant and normal as well as XP and resource boosts, only a few unlocked costume pieces.

FWIW, I got the madbot AF on the 666th present I opened across a few toons.

I made a tick after each stack of 10 opened. I had 66 ticks, and 4 presents left in the current stack when I got it. :eek:

I may have missed a tick (or added a tick) so it's possible it wasn't exactly 666, but I still think it shows that RNG is evil. :mad:
