3rd part of the mission for Fatal Error, won't complete for my main character; I pick up the quest, queue for the mission, take 30 bloody minutes to complete it (as my team dies and quits and we 2 man it) and then at the end, I get the 'cash' reward but I still have a stupid grey " ? " as to my mission status -- mission NOT completed. Won't flag it as completed so I can get the real reward (collecting silver stars). I've opened tickets, I've written emails and just get the same stupid automatic response. I've dropped quest and retaken it. I've dropped quest, waited 24 hours and retaken it. I tried with another character and it worked, but for some reason, with my main character it won't work. I've been trying and trying since the mission went live! I am coming here not for player help but for hopes sake that someone in charge/staff will read this, and please give me a HUMAN response, not some stupid pre-generated auto-response that doesn't even relate to the problem!
Done all 3; wouldn't give me 2 til I did 1, wouldn't give me 3 til I did 2. (did them the first day they went live). Only thing I haven't done is repeat all 3 back to back to back -- may give that a try as I've yet to hear anything back from anyone 'official'
1. Ensure you have completed the two requisite missions.
2. Open mission tracker and see if you have one of those missions active (perhaps you had planned on runnig it again). If so, drop it.
3. Cybermind alert should complete.
That happened to me. I completed the other two but I was still farming Carrier Wave for the Cyberlord AF, so I had it active. The final alert was not completing for me, so I dropped Carrier Wave, ran the final alert and all was well. I hope this works for you.

My character had tried the darn thing 5 times without success, but once I dropped those missions it completed properly. *shrugs* Maybe just a coincidence that it completed that time.
I like the earlier suggestion of just running and completing all 3 in succession. If that doesn't work then it must be a glitch.

Players are the only ones testing/playing content, so only response you're getting is in here from the players.
We may not be HUMANs, but that's all you'll get.
Don't know if it's a cooldown timer bugging or what. But it takes 1-3 runs to get the mission complete.
Not a big problem, since you can't get the all the end drops same time anyway.
So, it's not a priority on their fix list.
Get used to it.

Flyingfinn -- I waited 4 days for a response form the troubleshooting team, and I know that they will also read forums; that's why I posted here. My problem is that now NONE of my characters are able to complete this mission (for the daily drops -- I'm collecting the silver champion stars, or whatever they are called). I may not be a priority on their list, but I am a paying customer and they are looking into it for me. currently, they are stumped. I don't appreciate your 'get used to it' remark.

Ther troubleshooting team is still busy trying to fix all the problems with Fury or the Feywild being live. n The biggest one is login issues.

What he meant is that support is lousy here and the game is constantly plagued with bugs.
If you want to stay, that's something you'll get used to, otherwise you'll take your money elsewhere.

I've heard of people picking up the third mission without even touching the first two, so I was just making sure captain pink ears.

Why did they make it a Socrates mission instead of give it to the Alert coordinator?

I just did the Alert with all three missions active on my list. The Alert mission completed successfully.
