Heroes, the FATAL ERR0R finale is about to go live! Maintenance will begin at 7AM PDT, and should last about an hour or two. When it ends, you'll be able to play the Cybermind alert and try out new Laser Sword powers.

Start time: 7 AM PDT
Estimated duration: 1 - 2.5 hours

Note: I'm fairly certain the Forum Malvanum alert will only run until Friday. Make sure to get your rewards from the alert before then!

I dopn't know about anyone else but I am suddenly having extreme lag issues to the poit wqhere i cannot play. Is this due to the new updates, or anything that is a game problem. I have almost torn my own computer apart in an effort to fix this.

Well, since you posted 12 hours before the update, I highly doubt that it has anything to do with any lag you're experiencing.

Where do you live? Sometimes, especially if you don't live in North America, there can be lag introduced from your routing through the net.

trailturtle how many times did your team actually complete the forum malvanum (meaning the whole thing, Ironclad, duratok, firewing.) because of the insane difficulty of Ironclad/duratok, and the uber low drop rates, ..*snip*..

The FM Mission is actually only up till Veteran Fighters, after that is just pure bonus.

With a good team, I myself and no doubt others have been able to scrape past DuraClad.

My strategy has always been to keep them together, focus on Ironclad (full team focus) till half way point, then two members focus on duratok (who should have some HP missing already) and finish them off that way..

that wasn't the point. the reward tables SUCK. and beating firewing should GUARANTEE a costume drop at least. after all, you barely ever get that far.

Ah, so a premade team like the one we were eating the Forum Malvanum with on the PTS before it's release would get a couple hundred costume parts and keep the market price higher by selling them for ridiculous prices?

where did you get THAT team and where can I find one like it? I can tell you with 100% certainty that kinda team isn't very common AT. ALL.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

That's why it's premade. You want the best things you gotta work for them.

you two either haven't been paying attention or I failed to mention I wont touch FM without a premade team of ALL dps or Nearly all dps. Uber dps. out of 15 tries we beat it a grand total of zero times. so I call BS on the claim the current reward tables are good as is.

in all politeness of course. no personal attacks here.

I'm not quite getting how you wrote this, erm. You agree with us, then call BS on the reward tables, which none of us were supporting but merely saying that 100% drop rate would be stupid?

I think that's what it was yeah. Well, alrighty then. It's made for pre-mades anyways so have fun.

Contradiction has been highlighted. You may want to edit that post if you want people to follow the belief of your last sentence.

ok so maybe I misunderstood your intent. but a premade team isn't enough most of the time. at least give us a 50% rate.

A premade team of DPS players isn't enough? Wow, are you following any sort of pattern when fighting these guys?

I'm simply recalling the difficulty gradii usually seems to have. Builds are hard for some people. [Shrug.]

Poke me if you want a person. Although not right meow, I'm crushing Cybermind.

so 3k+ dps 2gm is a bad build? enlighten me please.

I never said it was a bad build, but you yourself have remarked on difficulty of builds and how your numbers never seem to match up. I was simply reiterating what you yourself said earlier.

Perhaps you're others aren't carrying enough of a lead?

Somethings not going quite right then, since my runs with the pre-mades have left us at least fifteen seconds left. Only once were we down to five, as threat switched randomly and both of them ganked our poor fire user.

^ This. I last time with Bionic Bullet had around 15-20 secs to spare, my team and our collective DPS ripped through Ironclad till half way, removed Duratok then took out the rest of Ironclad within 15 or so seconds.

what's the metod to fight cybermind?

    Answer in part is below:
As long as you follow the instruction to use SOCRATES hacker coding pillars to protect yourself at the right time.

The alert is melee and ranged friendly. Pet friendly? Not so much..at least for the boss fight.

Red, Blue and Yellow are the anti Cybermind measure SOCRATES puts in place. When the squares under and around Cybermind light up run to the colour matching pillars and pick up the buff then stand on the lit up square (which matches you buff colour) and you'll be protected from a painful almost one shotting attack he uses, namely Viral Storm.

Colours are the key for this alert as well as listening carefully to SOCRATES advice, regardless of the whining Cybermind may do by telling you she is lying lol

I would say the most irritating parts of the encounter is the firewall stage and Travel Power lockout. And of course the lockout feature.

Basically when the ground lights up, you run to the corresponding pillar of code then step on square and stay there until Viral Storm stops. <--applies to all stages.

Second Phase: Drones are colour coded, each colour corresponds to a pillar code. Gain the correct buff to fight and damage these drones. Cybermind cannot be damaged in this phase so don't bother with him. Switch colours after the drone you are attacking is dead.

Third Phase: Pay close attention to Cybermind's legs. This will indicate whether he is going to use Yellow, Red OR Blue Viral Empowerment. At the point where you see his legs start to change colour and gain a circuit-like look, you run to a corresponding pillar to protect yourself from that forms damage e.g. Red Viral Cybermind = Run to Red Pillar and get Red buff.

    Final Phase: Win.

What?! They took the 38k XP away????!!!
    .....
You want the best things you gotta work for them.

I think we had some other "team" working on the Dura/Claddie part of the mission than the entire game. But then again, fighting against heroes should be harder than facing one of the most powerful villain in Champions universe, like Gravitar. Since, come on, Firewing is only a bonus villain...

I haven't figured out what the "best things" in the Forum Failvanum still is.

Could we get a working Event Calendar, ingame. Thanks.

This alert t is available to every new player who doesn't know anything about the game.
You never teach them how to fast exit maps with the Socrates button.
By default they don't have teleport to millennium city gear.

Then you lock players out of a fight versus a boss with nearly three million hit points.

Then the leave current map button stops working at the 45 minute long
Cybermind fight, so even if someone knows how to exit a map, they can't without logging out.

Also is the point of a cooldown on the resurrection devices?
Is there a cooldown for respawning at a spawn point?
Enemy gains full health if player's are defeated before they are...so why
make people run to a lock out wall because their device is on cooldown?

Thanks for this content I asked for back in December 2011, btw.
I guess I have to subscribe now.

The safety colors are not always working as intended and the ground is sticking/eating half my team.
I am not one for gimmick fights, but I gave it a try or two. With the issues mentioned and my basic dislike for this type of scenario, I will be sitting this one out. It is a pity as I enjoyed the first two parts, but oh well.

Anyway, everyone else, have fun and good luck.
