Lava travel powers

I run a character whose theme is lava.

But there aren't actually any lava travel powers.

The 2 ideas I've had so far are these:

Lava Slide
You slide along the ground on a stream of superheated rock.

Lave Geyser (or Volcano Eruption)
A jet of superheated rock shoots you into the air temporarily.

Bees like honey, they don't like vinegar.
Everytime someone makes a character that is an copy of an existing superhuman, Creativity is sad :'(

How is Force Geyser a Travel Power?

I meant launch yourself, not your enemies.

Ooh! This would be nice! Although, a Magma Tunneling seems to be the best TP for a lava-theme. Whenever you cancel the tp, you erupt from the ground. :D

Really this belongs in the Suggestions Forum (further down the main forum page), but good ideas, I like them.

Lava Powers are forbidden in CO. Defender seem to have tendency to fall in the lava, so such powers aren't doable for the protection of the Defendor.

Rocket Jump could be used to simulate the geyser effect. Not sure if it could be recolored to help.

Going for Round 3 of pushing powers for your lava man idea already, Tilarta? Unlike your previous ramblings, this one is actually reasonable. I think Ice Slide could use more reskins; but if a Lava Slide power does come about, it'll likely be a reskin of Earth Flight.

A magma reskin of Tunneling would be nice. Until then, there's the various Ooze Tunneling powers.

Either way, as said by vorshoth, this thread should be in Suggestions and not Combat and Powers.

    Lava tunneling would look hot.

Not a fan of tunneling, but it would be a great effect to see.

I'm not big on simulating powers.

Mostly because it failed to work in the past.

Besides, from what little I remember of Rocket Jump, it's just jets of flame from the feet.

It doesn't resemble a explosive volcanic eruption in any form.

It might be an interesting alternative to Superjump if the leap animation is better.
I'll have to examine it some more sometime.

I like this one could see it looking a bit like a ground based earth flight mixed with the ooze FX

have the character standing on a chunk of rock in the middle of a small pool of lava and when you move around it leaves a trail.
    Lave Geyser (or Volcano Eruption)

Interesting could work like a verity of super jump/rocket jump a while back there was call for a similar power where a spike of earth would launch your character into the air.

If you go back and read his last couple of threads, then you'll understand why people are losing their patience with him. He's the one giving other people bad forum experiences.

No need to 'go back', I've been following them as they happened. And yeah, it became apparent very quickly that it was going to be difficult or impossible for me to help that poster. I just don't really see what piling on with snark is meant to accomplish.
