or the benefits of hindsight, feel free to add your own and I'll add them to the list;
1. When flying and reading the map while exploring is not safe. Stop then read the map.(as crash into trees, towers and batches of higher level mobs.
2. Don't run and read maps(as level 18 exploring runs over cliff into level 36 mobs)
3. Stealth and pets don't go. If you are trying to sneak past, get rid o fthe pets first(after running through the front 3 mobs on Recruitment drive and having the pets agro everyone.)
4.Stealth works better if you turn it on. Next alert, turned off dinos, forgot to turn on stealth, rinse and repeat
5. Check ALL of costume before going to CC.(after finding my weird ali9en was wearing high heels, no it wasn't that weird)
6. When doing a retcon , make sure you have spent the points.well I remembered to buy powers
7. On your first day on Champions Online dont call some player you disagree with a BEEPING noob especially if this player is called Robobo :I - Nepht -Was not my smartest move ._."
8. See that tower over Ren-Cen called... Club Caprice? So. DONT GO THERE - Aurinkosi
9. Healing devices do not work, when you have a Become device activated- Too many times to remember
10.Don't do drinking games about demon wolves or succubi...klitty
11. When using Palliate w/ Absolve (threat wipe) don't use it on the tank.-Falchion(and me)
12. Always remember to reactivate your form when exiting a vehicle...Jennymachx
12a. Remember your flight power is turned off by vehicles, do NOT turn off vehicles when high in the air. aarrrgghhh splat
13.Only self-res during Gravitar alert when she's far away and starting to charge up a bubble.Jennymachx
13a. If Gravitar keeps one shotting someone, don't go near them or try to res them. Don't go near me,(after the first dozen one shots) she hates me. Healer did, got one shotted.

16. Use /camdist 60 in Zombie Apocalypse for a better bird's eye view of incoming zombie waves. Jennymachx
17. If you're a non-ERP'er and are in Club Caprice, put "I DO NOT ERP" in your description. Jennymachx
18. Kevin Poe is not Mindslayer, even if the alert announcer tries to imply otherwise. Jennymachx
19. Always blow up canisters nearest to NPCs at Steelhead station, Canada.Jennymachx
20. Pets work better if you use your energy builder, unless you dfon't want them to aggro something.Just don't ask
21.Don't spam the help me please button when you die, unless you know there is a reviver, and even then don't spam it. We all wish we could revive other players like in STO and GW2..-Klitty
22.Do not try using Crowd Control Powers on Legendary or above foes, this will not work.Ravenforce
23.If playing a controller make sure you also have a secondary way to play as you will not be contributing to a boss fight like Gravitar with Crowd Control Mechanics, so pick up as many debuffs as you can.Ravenforce
24.Activating Nimbus of Force or any other shield like power mid fall from a knock back attack will not allow you to bounce and absorb fall damage.Ravenforceouch
25.When preparing to do high agro DPS, make sure you can handle it, activate your heal and AD for defense, with perhaps your AO as well to maximise damage and minimize possibility of losing.Ravenforce
26. Always remember to turn on your travel power BEFORE leaving your hideout...heavynosferatuDoesn't help me, I leave hideout and it turns my off long enough to splat on the pavement then turns it back on again
27. Typing chat while fighting will get you killed(again and again and again)

If playing a controller make sure you also have a secondary way to play as you will not be contributing to a boss fight like Gravitar with Crowd Control Mechanics, so pick up as many debuffs as you can.
Activating Nimbus of Force or any other shield like power mid fall from a knock back attack will not allow you to bounce and absorb fall damage.
