  I have been trying to get chat silenced this way for 10 minutes, posting 5-10 messages per minute in zone.

  Players reporting you gets a 24 hour chat ban, not 2 minute. It sounds like gradii somehow triggered an anti-flooding script.

  That self ban feature has been around for a while now, I self banned myself in June for 1:45 mins.
  
  I accidentally ignored myself and got a "@Ravenforce has added to their ignore list" whenever I tried to talk and then was silenced by myself lmao.
