I foresee many, many more Nighthawk Hoods in our future...
Is there any chance the Villainware we've already deleted from SOCRATES will be counted for these perks?

Love the look of the new grav bike, looks just like a flying crotchrocket motorcycle! I mean, I've already got my mantis and I don't really have anyone that'd use the fire ant, but man does it look sweet.
Edit: I do have to wonder, though...with all the vehicles and such being released, is there ever going to be the chance to use them in indoor instances? It's kind of silly limiting them with the amount we gotta put out for most of them.
The villainware perk on PTS had to start counting over again, but the Cyberlord perk did not: Cyberlord robots defeated in Whiteout counted for the perk.
Some people will simply receive a Cyberlord robot perk or two when logging in after the patch.
-Nighthawk's hood is now available in more categories.

I don't believe so, unfortunately. Normally data doesn't get stored unless something's specifically set to record it -- otherwise, recording everything would take an insane amount of memory, it'd basically be saving a demo_record file for everything.
Unfortunately, since there wasn't a perk before this, it almost certainly won't retroactively count kills.
Sweet patch is here....wait....is this right?.....Do my eyes deceive me?.....Is that a nighthawk hood option for bestial heads?!?!
Heh, glad you guys like it! LordGar surprised us all by adding that to the release notes, didn't think he was working on that, it's definitely worth celebrating.

Eh, it's not like jumping into SOCRATES and deleting viral attacks is such a horrendous chore...

Unfortunately, in a later thread, he updated that they wouldn't. A tool that we thought was already tracking those kills, turned out not to be doing so. We basically thought we could cannibalize something old.

Ok, this is an overall decent patch I must say. There was a minor communication issue when something didn't quite pan out but you two were BOTH ontop of it and actually made forum posts to inform the playerbase. THIS IS COMMUNICATION AND YOU SHALL BOTH BE PRAISED!

Just in case people don't know they can be used in the adventure packs in certain areas.
1. Serpent Lantern (non instanced maps)
2. Demon Flame (non instanced maps)
3. Resistance (1st open area, not the last part though)
Good for scouting in Resistance if Overseer farming, also for bombing/cannoning (<--pretty sure that ain't a word) trash mobs in all 3 AP's.
I'd love to use them in Aftershock, but they don't work in comic series.
Indoor instances might be cool in a team setting, but the height limitations are gonna make survival rough considering the base hp of the vehicles and the fact that some of the odifications flat out don't work or the tooltip is wrong. Also neither holograph mk 1 or 2 actually provides stealth, it's basically just for fx.

On that note, can you communicate a general desire for perks and titles?
They don't seem to be a big time sink and the 5k rewards such as the AF is really nice, we could use a few more.
One Example might be the Roin'esh - and for that one I'd like a permanent version of the Roin'esh tentacle pool travel power for the 5k perk.

Thanks for the info Trailturtle but it also says that when we open lockboxes we will get +2 bonus drifter salvage. I have opened some today and no bonus. I didn't see any start date or end date for that matter, can you clarify. Thanks

Well, the new kills don't count either in Whiteout Part 3 with CyberLARD. I'm stuck at 80.

They also clip all over the place, but is better than no hood at all
Yeah, it's not that great with, say, wolf heads, but it looks amazing with the simian head. Now I just need a character concept that uses it...
"Science teaches us to expect -- demand -- more than just eerie mysteries. What use is a puzzle that can't be solved? Patience is fine, but I'm not going to stop asking the universe to make sense!"
I don't get why they couldn't add the Nighthawk hood to heads & hairs. I have a great costume using the Jack Fool mask and hood, but now I have to us a derpy full mask to use it. Can we pwease just add the hood to heads and hairs or the mask to hoods? That would solve problems for me, clipping or not, it should be my choice.
For every player that says, "I want that costume piece option, clipping or not," there at least one more players that says, "What the heck is this clipping issue? Fix it!"
You just can't have everything. I mean, where would you put it?

IMO there is a difference between a costume unlock clipping when used in combination with certain pieces and a costume unlock that clips with itself or the base model from the get-go.
If it's the 1st thing then I'm cool with that and if I choose to use combinations that clip then I'll use Clip-Fu to make it all look as right as I can before I'm done. This is my option and in many cases I choose to use it.
Now if the piece clips from the get-go reguardless of any combination then, honestly, someone should have done a better job in the 1st place with the actual unlock. A prime example of this would some of the hair styles which, with default sliders, can be placed on the head and when the model moves...squares of the hair clip into the back of the head leaving bald patches for no good reason at all. Unlocks like these weren't even designed to work well on their own, let alone with combinations. This is where I draw the line myself and wish Cryltic would exercise some form of quality control(although recent unlocks have been somewhat better in that they at least come in all the materials).
In short, Cryptic needs to design costume unlocks with a basic set of standards* across the board and then if any clipping results from oddball/creative combinations, then that's on the players as to whether they use them in that way or not.
*Basic set of Standards:
-Unlock does not clip with basic model and model animations.
-Unlock uses 3-4 color options(if only 3 then toss in a glow aura like the Sci-Fi set has as a 4th)
-Unlock comes in at LEAST cloth, leather, and metal options.
-Unlock has correct linework on front AND back(if applicable).
-Unlock coloring is complete and does not have holes in it like it was done in crayons by a small schoolchild.
-If unlock is not gender-specific then it should be usable by both genders.
For every player that says, "I want that costume piece option, clipping or not," there at least one more players that says, "What the heck is this clipping issue? Fix it!"
You just can't have everything. I mean, where would you put it?
Yea. And this time they listened the "What the heck is this clipping issue? Fix it!" people.
