The reward piece is just the sci-fi boots with the foot of the mecha boots?

    Seriously?

Actually, the reward IS the Sci-Fi Boots 2(which oddly never made it into the actual set) renamed and I, personally, am glad to get them. My only hope is that when they hit Live they're available in the same 4 material choices as the rest of the Sci-Fi Set as well as all possible catagories.

Honestly solunitus, this unlock might not be something that fits your style but I would love to see a costume set or 3 made simply out of minor tweaks and adjustments to existing things. Sometimes I look at an unlock and think it would be cool if I could have this, or maybe slap that on it, or a different pattern, or something. Since this is likely easier to accomplish than making things from scratch it might be worth exploring as a means to get more stuff into this game in a shorter time. Course, that's just my take on it.

P.S. To clarify I would want these "Rehashed/Revamped Unlocks" to be available for free as ingame drops and then the extra effort they free up could be used to get things into the Z-Store like "The Archery Set" or some of the other concept stuff that never quite made it...or entirely new stuff.

Cool! I've wanted to fight inside that thing ever since Whiteout! Any chance of a remaster at some point to take Whiteout's Cyberlord fight indoors?

    No. You're not.
Since you need to accomplish part 1 to be able to do part 2.

I would like to know if Fatal Err0r part 1: Intranet Deployement would still be available when the Carrier Wave mission will hit Live server?

I hope so, because I'd like to gain the virus AF and so far, I had no luck :frown:

    Pleaaaase!!

    Thanks.

On PTS both part 1 and 2 were available at the same time, looks like it will remain that way for LIVE.

It was said that these missions (bar the finale) will be a permanent fixture in CO, so I doubt they will be removing them.

    I'd love to do this.

Too bad the final boss of the first part is unsoloable.

I'm inclined to disagree, that boss is entirely soloable on my lvl 28 dual blader with Night Warrior Passive and my level 40 CROWD CONTROLLER.

Both have less than 4.5k HP.

What type of build are you using?

If you want assistance (I am Mentella@Ravenforce), I'd be happy to help today...(preferably in the early hours of the morning for you guys) since I'm going offline soon.

I've soloed this several times with different builds. I would say if that you'll be in for a tough fight if you have no method of self-healing, but otherwise the boss is soloable.

I've only soloed that final boss with a lvl 38 Invincible and a lvl 31 Tempest. (I'd love to do it with one of my Golds, but first I need either a steady income or, for preference, three hundred bucks that isn't already bespoken.)

As others have said its really about the build and character:
    * I've managed to solo it on a L40 freeform Telekinesis (with lots of summoning powers mixed in), L19 freeform Gadeteering (with some Wind powers), L32 freeform Martial Arts, and a L17 Savage.
    * I've gotten pulverized solo with a L29 freeform Heavy Weapon, L21 freeform Munitions (though I think I could have managed that one), and L24 freeform Primal Sorcery.

    Questionite for mission completion

    Ahem...

    YAAAAAAY!

    To be updated next?
    • Rewards for open zone stuff
(open missions, better XP for completing entire mission chains in the zones, crafting skill nodes that aren't 99% worthless)

    • Rewards for long adventure packs or comic series
(Serpent Lantern, Resistance, and Aftershock; especially Aftershock because you deserve something equally sizable for the time & effort needed to fully complete the longest mission in the game -- an incentive to run that makes them equal to Alerts, even if you're level 40)

    • Rewards for PvP queues
(rewards for no-rage-quit, no leeching/AFK completion; i.e.: a 2000 Questionite PvP daily mission)

    Please?

    21182250.jpg

Goal: promote the fun & enjoyment of different player types. People who love zones like to explore. People who love adventure packs like teamplay and combat with a plot/story to it. People who love PvP combat want a challenge better than what any NPC's AI can provide.

Is this a whine to get attention (aka. a form of trolling)? Because I find this as false -- that boss is totally able to be solo'ed. I can solo it. All my friend that I know of can solo it. I've got to ask, even if just to myself, "What are you doing that is making you so ineffective?"

If you're being genuine in that you're having trouble with the boss, if I give you the benefit of the doubt (which I will) that you're being for real and not just trolling us all here, then:
    1. I have questions as to why you're having such difficulty, and about your level of personal combat skills expertise. (Note: I consistently disagree strongly with people who make commentaries about gameplay mechanics balance when they don't really know how to play the game and don't fully understand the core mechanics. That goes for everyone, including myself -- why I keep rather silent if I'm new to the game for a long time.)
    2. I can offer a guaranteed victory if I'm on, available to team up, and you need me to bring quick retribution in your name upon that malicious spider boss. It'd be my honor to assist a new player to the game. Read: I'm offering to help if needed, if you need some good ol' revenge.

And before you get all insulted by what I'm saying -- I'd rather you think of this as, I'd rather this be taken as constructive criticism, as in how might you improve yourself.

Maybe you need some better gear?
Maybe you need to learn how to block certain heavy-hitting attacks?
Maybe you're a squishy archetype that lacks a heal, and would REALLY benefit from having a teammate who is focused on healing? (i.e.: a Radiant archetype or a freeform dedicated healer)
Maybe you are a freeform that cherry-picked powers that have no synergy at all? (making you weaker than any archetype)
Maybe you are not leveled up enough to have your core powers in place that would make this mission far easier?
Maybe this mission was never intended to be balanced strictly for solo play? (after all it DOES suggest/recommend 2 players on a team for the mission)

If I can solo the boss on a character with AoRP + IDF and weak attacks or solo it on a dedicated healer that only has one attack, then I don't see why you can't do it with a Behemoth or whatever. I mean, it's not like you're fighting Ao'Qephoth alone where he lifedrains you to heal himself up. What exactly are you using that you are struggling with? Mind archetype or something? Well wait... I know a level 40 Mind archetype who solo'ed that boss, from my friends list. So yeah... no idea.

I managed it today on a lvl 17 Devastator. My best hint: Run the first segment of "Whiteout"; that gives you a Steelhawk Soldier sidekick. Having the Sidekick is a big help; I had a Bone Whistle, which summoned a Zombie to assist me. If you go in with a Sidekick, don't activate it until you're facing the giant spider, and if you have to respawn wait in the center room until the cooldown on your Sidekick has ended.

Last night I could not solo it for the first time. A new toon on Support role based around shielding, with meh gear and Lvl.17. The trouble came when I could not kill the adds that keep spawning fast enough. My damage was too low for the spider to go down in time before the adds were too many to survive. I quit and need to retry with better gear (got the Q-store samurai secondaries, need to work on primaries).

Other than that I soled with a Lvl.16 night warrior/laser sword, Lvl.23 pure support (with AoAC too), and several other freeforms, and never had problems.

True - I was mostly concentrating on the sidekick itself, I suppose.
