Phalanx Defense System and Plasma Beam

I noticed something odd with my character utilizing the Power Armor set. I took the advantage on Energy Shield,the Phalanx Defense System (3 Advantage Points).

The description is clear enough, if you have the Energy Shield power slotted, this advantage will cause it to activate when you make a Power Armor Slot (Chest, Hand, or Shoulder) attack, increasing your defense for a few seconds.

This seems to work on two of my Power Armor slot attacks but not the third. It activates for Mini-Gun (Shoulder), Micro Munitions (Chest), but not for Plasma Beam (Hand).

I didn't see anything listed on the bug forum, so I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this issue.

    The description for Phalanx is not completely accurate. You must hit a target for the advantage to proc. Go burn down some baddies with your plasma beam and your Phalanx Defense System should activate.

    You are quite correct. I went back and tried it and it did indeed work once I had targeted someone. Thank you for your quick reply.

    It also works with Reconstruction Circuits.
