CO PvP Community: Tacks Aren't a Source of Light (just saying)

Before I get to the entire point of this post I would like to remind you all that tacks are NOT a light source and that you should not attempt to use them as anything but a weapon of (potential) utter destruction comparably so to that of Lego bricks in concentration:

The whole point of this post is to illustrate the wonderment and diversity of the CO PvP Community, how it is the 'That guy' of Champions online, similar to that Loli ERPers on Tera or the entirety of the Goldshire cummunity on WoW. It's that guy that makes you scared, but, also that guy that will wrap his wing over your shoulder and whisk you away to some monastery somewhere to train you in to a rich billionaire playboy vigilante (then betray the f@*k out of you or something).
Basically, the solution to the problem can all be summed up by this one movie about a male human that tried to smuggle some coke or whatever in to (or out of) some crappy war-torn country somewhere, got put in to their prison, bit someone's tongue off out of revenge which consequentially ended in him getting banged up in some institution for the criminally insane where he did indeed lose his mind. This is the part where I tell you all he got saved by boobs, literally, he saw boobs, masturbated and got un-insane - everything pretty much went uphill for him from that point on. As far as I know I wasn't really following the storyline, I think this is the basic outline though, I'm not too sure.
So yeah, I'm fairly certain you could all learn a lesson from this: Don't hate, alleviate; masturbate.
Also you scare me, you all scare me.
P.S. I was kind of looking for a fun Ice Form lurker build (or at least an explanation on how to make one work, never built an Ice Form build before) with high-survivability that can be used effectively in B.A.S.H. PvP to surprise people, no tagging, just kills.

1)Use fire snake(debuff for elemental damage and the clinging flames animation kinda stuns the target)
2) Use ego sleep+root combo(preferably don't use ice cage, since it can be targeted . That way opponents can use evasive maneuvers and make your alpha strikes miss)
3) Strafing Run! (killer move)
4) get nanobot swarm so you can land 2 runs immediately.
Now, for surviving, you will have a hard time...only tacts/ devices can save you.
You could however make a double passive toon, and have a second build using invulnerabality+radiance and MD. To make this choice viable, you need int primary,str/con secondaries, with the Revitalize spec. That however lowers your crit severity and requires gearing for it.

I was sort of wondering how you would gear for a build like this as well, how would you go about doing that?
Hi, this is imp and yes I use ice form with my build meanwhile as sters gives the idea of my build away. ;D It's okay.
Okay, you ask for something that can survive... I am here to tell you that if you are using ice form you will not be surviving easy. To survive you have to stack each type of CC and knock. I use force gyser, ego sleep and *gasp sters* ice cage. Now it is true that ice cage may not be the best for using SR with it although saying that, if you are in bash there is plenty of stuff that can be used to use an evasive maneuvers anyway. This being said, only ever use your strafing run on an ego sleep or if there is a random heap of people ganking eachother then it may be good to throw a SR in there, if you get a lucky and you crit without them dodging then I have sometimes got a 3 man SR in bash. (still trying to got for the 4 man ;D) Basically I use ice cage also because it acts as a target for the person to get stuck targeting while you stealth.
My build uses dex primary and only has about 8k health, this being said it isn't very defensive at all although by using various debuffs you are able to stop your opponent from hitting that much on you. You want a build for bash, I'll tell you now, if you are using my build you have to be good at timing when to attack. You want to always get above people and fall down on their heads, you then use force gyser to knock off travel powers and instantly sleep them followed by a strafing run, with ego surge or ice sheath if recharged. I don't actually usually use nanobot swarm so hastily, I first make sure that I wont be counter attacked and also I may use my ice cage to make sure they can't run away before I get off a second strafing run. I have two ice grenade device's which I bind to my ice cage meaning that I root them for longer before I can use ego sleep again and strafing run.
If you get attacked, target that person and ego sleep them or smoke grenade them if desperate and they are fully on the attack. After using smoke grenade teleport up slightly before coming back down on their head to counter attack.
Sters suggested that you use fire snake for the 6% reduction to resistance or whatever it is, I personally wouldn't suggest this for the same reason that I wouldn't suggest you getting ebon ruin for this particular build. Over time damage hits your holds off meaning that it's going to be very hard to keep someone under ego sleep for long enough.
The benefit of ice form is that it has a built in snare and a built in root already making it perfect for use alongside manipulator which makes the holds your will have extremely nasty, allowing you to even hold players who have a high resistance by using con primary or having lots of ego.
As for gear, you must have stealth sight. I found this because if someone goes into stealth then they will get the first hit, the entire idea is that you get the first hit to start stacking debuffs and holds. So get a malvan emblem, the perc secondarys are expensive and hard to find although they would benefit you in seeing things like rank 3 teleport. Use dodge and avoidance on your breastplate. Get crit chance and a bit of crit severity on your gloves. Try to get your int fairly high as it will not only benefit your stealth sight but it will also give you enough energy regen when used with MSA. Get your con at enough of a level to give enough health not to be one hit killed by everything also if you are using ego surge get it at an okay level so you can get atleast a bit of a crit chance from the active. I don't put anything into dex other than what I have on my vigilante gloves which ofcourse gives a bit more crit chance. By using dex primary, my SSS's give lots of crit serv and so I have 120%-130% at the moment.
My build one hit kills many people when they don't dodge and I crit although unless used right you may find you die a lot. I find it okay to die a lot as long as I kill more people than I die, and the difference is with these people and me is that many of my kills end up being solo kills because of the one hit kill thing.

Now,i was using int primary(for the defense penetration debuff) con and pre secondaries.Geared for mostly con and Pre. Presence is there for hold strength and heals.So the form can still be concentration.
Entagling Mesh is my favorite root...not only it gives not target for your opponent to use evasive maneuvers,but also it is aoe,meaning you can root 3-4 people and SR them all (:P).
My crit severity isn't that high,but i get it back from damage penetration...this build *should* work better against high defense toons,using passives like defiance.
Now about fire snake...hehe this is awesome if you think of it...dps isn't bad and i'd suggest using ego storm with it...just try it...
ALSO!A HUGE REMINDER!!! GAS PELLETS anyone knows how to make it work?
In duels, it does close to nothing unless you are dueling a melee. In areas with architecture, lure your enemy to enclose areas, walls or corners, use the pellets followed by any other major attacks which you may have. You can always fill the area with pellets so anyone stepping into range will immediately get damaged.
8 pellets critting can give 4k of damage easily before mitigation.

So nobody plays hero games anymore, huh? Looks like all my psychological warfare tactics finally took effect. :P Maybe some day people will realize they were carpet bombed with tactical nukes for almost an entire year. Team duels are more fun anyway. :P
