I'm putting together a comprehensive video on the costume editor for newer players, since the thing can be pretty overwhelming to folks coming from most other titles(I keep hearing people say they can't do what they want with the editor), and I want some of the community's best examples to show off.
To this end, I'd love to get some nice, high-quality, high-resolution shots of any impressively crafted costumes y'all have put together. Hit up the greenroom in the Powerhouse Tailor, set your graphics stuff as high as you can, hide that UI and take a shot in a good pose. Don't worry about any particular size requirements, but larger is better.
Additionally, I'd like a number of shots of costumes in the editor, at varying zoom levels and various different menu options. Don't worry about getting anything specific with these, just pick a costume part for the menu and zoom in or out as far as you'd like.
I'll be using everything that's suitable quality for the video in said video, and credit y'all appropriately. Some of them will get more focus than others though, and I can't promise what I'll use for what until I get it all. Why don't I just grab these from other topics? Searching for images of suitable quality or size takes a long time, and I can't be sure people would allow me to use a screenshot without asking permission- which, if I did on an individual basis for the volume I hope to get, would be unreasonable for me to even try to do.
Also if you've got any tricks you'd like me to share in said video, feel free to post those here too. But mostly I need some cool screenshots. And link anyone you know who's got a great costume(or costumes!) to show off to this thread, please. The more I get, the more impressively I can show off the customization this game allows for.
I reccommend hosting your pictures on Imgur.com, which is easy to use, allows batch uploading, and doesn't do the 'too much bandwidth, no more picture!' thing all the time like some other sites do.
Thanks!

CO Wiki would be my 1st choice to pick the pictures of costume pieces. Since it has pictures done in same manner, white "mannequin", default colors on pieces, how and from where. If you decide using those, just contact @Lohr. Or was it @lohr1...
Wiki even has a Character Creator video.
And the different costumes, i got something like 10.000 hours of tailor time under my sleeve and few Gigs of costume files saved up. So i could whip something up.

I don't need screens of individual pieces, sorry if that was unclear. The editor shots I just mean to have it look like "in progress" stuff with people's costumes. Those are less essential than the greenscreen costume shots since I can get editor shots myself, but I figured I'd ask anyway if people feel like tossing some of those out there. Definitely going to check out that video when I get home from class though. There's certainly no harm in me making another one, even if that's similar to what I've got in mind(that seems to be from 2011 so I'm sure it's alright to get a slightly updated one geared towards CoH players if nothing else). Part of the reason for doing it is that I think it'd be a fun project.
And thanks! I'll appreciate anything you wanna send my way. The more, the better, especially if plenty of people can get involved. I'd love to show a nice chunk of the community's creativity in this.

Sure, I'm more than happy to supply my any of my costumes.
With the CoX shut down unfortunately looming ahead I daresay there will be many players from that title looking to CO and DCUO for their superhero fix so a video showcasing what you can do in the character creator here would be great.
I have a relatively large list so I'll pick a few of my favourites and upload some green screen pose / photos over the weekend. Kelplankton, if there's anything you see in particular you'd like a shot of, PM me. Cheers.
Sorry for the lack of progress on this, got sidetracked by a number of projects at school (would you believe a 20 second dialogue-based animation takes a lot longer than it'd seem?)
Got a small break between projects right now so I'd love to really kick this thing into gear. Keep the costume shots coming my way! Hopefully I'll get to scripting it out and recording stuff sometime this week. Already have an outline but it needs some refining.

*ahem*
Head: VIPER helm with anchient armor or samurai top accessory, cant tell from that angle, with Sakura Mecha sides.
Neck: Armor basic?? (name derp maybe)
Chest & Hips: Legacy Power Armor (I believe the boots are Legacy as well) (also emblem added to chest)
Shoulder & Bracer: Nephilim
Arm Accessory: Looks like 90s.
Leg Accessory: Sakura Mecha
The armors under it, the tights of the costume can't really tell since I am terrible when it comes to looking at shiny things.

Maybe I should get around to producing this video guide after all.
