Icapable of fixing things? Then REMOVE broken powers

Okay, it's gotten blatantly obvious that Cryptric can't figure out how to actually fix broken powers like Ricochet Throw (and I am giving them the benefit of the doubt here in that i assume they tried).
So, how about a quick and dirty solution?
If you can't fix it, bloody get rid of it already.
Admittedly, that sounds like a ballsy move, because it might upset people who bought the Night Avenger, make l33t uberbuilders cry because they're not really l33t enough to make a great build without resorting to exploits and generally surprise everyone.
It wouldn't be, though. With the lack of proper support CO has had for months, upsetting paying customers is par for the course already. So much so that if you offered anyone that bought the Night Avenger a refund and free re-train, it might actually do your reputation good.
Not-so-l33t uberbuilders would cry for a while, and then move on to the next, slightly less powerful exploit. Or, possibly, try to go Pay2Win by throwing money at lockboxes for more/better Legion gear - which would actually be good for business (I still think it's a carny con business model, but hey, it's clearly not going away).
As for the surprise everyone else would be feeling? I'm pretty sure most would simply be surprised Cryptic actually did the right thing, which again might help a reputation that's so far down it's getting hard to kick.
