Costume set recognizing the 50th Anniversary

This year is the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, television's longest-running science-fiction program (even considering a couple of dry periods).

What I'd like to see is some costume items recognizing the anniversary. Some of the needed items are already in place; I've already seen a few Doctor homages (and one outright ripoff). I'd like to see the full scale, though.

A lot of it would be hairstyles through the decades, but there are a few other items that could be worked up: 18-foot scarf, lapel celery, shoes with spats, frock-coat, That Coat of Many Colours, and so forth. (Well, the Sixth Doctor's coat may have IP issues, but the rest should be okay.)

I'd happily buy this as a C-Store set.

(Of course, I also said that about the costume items from the old Crafted Costume Unlocks, and they wound up in a place where I couldn't get to them. So go figure.)

I'd love this, but its a shame it'd likely never happen. Doctor Who just isn't big enough for them to warrant it. If they were gonna make anything, it'd be Man of Steel themed.

Not to mention, Dr. Who isn't really a comic book character. I'm not shooting it down because it's not my thing- I'm just saying I don't see the reasoning here for it.

I mean, to give you an idea? I'd personally see it as useless and not purchase it. Semi-normal clothes don't appeal to me in a superhero game.

Actually, there have been quite a lot of Doctor Who comic series over the years. Most of the 8th Doctor's adventures were told through comics.

Yeah, I've seen them. I watched a couple of...

Do Dr. Who fans have a name?

Anyway, I watched these guys at a local comic shop drop tons on them, and they had the little sonic screwdiver props, too.

I don't think it's dumb, or bad- it's just not to my interest.

And you can't really use 'it has comics' as a real justification. By that logic, we could get into a whole mess of stuff...

I'd be down for better scarves and better coats, come to think of it.

I'd love to see a TARDIS for hideouts!
