Bring back the old costume unlocks

Just got done flipping through the wiki and a good majority of the costume unlocks (primarily weapon skins) are no longer available after On Alert was released. There's no good reason why they were removed so let's have them back!

    They were removed because they couldn't figure out how to separate the costumes from the gear and make them accessible in other ways. They're apparently hard coded, but it still doesn't explain why the 3-D files can't be copied and then tied to the new unlocks.

    And where did you hear this from?

    Cause it sounds ridiculous, considering they did exactly that with all of the crafted items that unlocked costume pieces.

    Yet not the perk costumes tied to power replacers and the power replacer themselves.

    Exactly, which doesn't make any sense considering they did it with the crafted pieces.

    Fully support this idea Cyrone. Always like more customization.

    It's Cryptic, there is no ridiculous.
    No one just bothered to do it, that's all. Too much work.

    Make a Weapon Set Pack for the Z-store, you did it before. Can't be that hard? You get money of it. Really, see me throwing my wallet to the screen.

    This. I don't mind paying for duplicates if it means I get the pieces I don't have.

    Put it at the price of the Halloween All-in-One Pack. Make it the Legacy Perk All-in-One Pack. It will also grant a title called Nostalgic.

    And if separating costume part from item is impossible, then why not add the Power Replace gear to a recognition, salvage or Questionite store?

    At least there, they can be accessible.
    Just another average RPer, costume part collector, and tabletop gamer.

    I second the Motion!

    It's INCREDIBLE UNFAIR and Stupidly Punishing for the new Players to not have the old skins back

    I feel really REALLY bad for having the majority of them unlocked and NOT using them (My Unleashed use the Sickle and my Specialist use the Fantasy Sword 2)
    And so many players want more weapon skins :frown:

    When my friend WAS playing the game (notice the "WAS") he asked me WHERE HE COULD FIND MORE WEAPON SKINS!
    What was I supposed to say? Sorry Dude, after the Launch of ALERTs, Cryptic broke **** up because they are BAD at coding and you CAN'T get new weapon skins .... Actually that's what I said to him :rolleyes:

    But seriously Cryptic, get stuff done, those Weapons were a GREAT part of the game! :mad:

    +1 Add all old weapons unlocks also. And give me back my nighthawk hood for beast heads.(i spend money for nothing)

    I always assumed that the reason they didn't come back was because there was going to be a drifter box later on that contained them.

    Maybe it's still in work?
