Speed increase for Speedsters

As a Super Speed fanatic, I find Super Speed to be quite slow compared to the flying vehicles that are out there. I was on monster island with a teammate who was using a very fast Grav Bike. From the volcano, we headed to the southern part of the island to fight Mega-Terak. By the time my teammate reached Mega-Terak, I was still less than half way there, and I had to deal with comments about how slow I was with Rank 3 Super Speed.

A significant speed increase, comparable to the fastest vehicles out there, would be amazingly fun to have for my ground based character that uses Super Speed.

    lol if they will make SS fast as a vehicle,then ppl will stop to buy lockboxes)))

    For as long as vehicles have been around, I still don't own one. Vehicles don't really fit with the character that I have, who focuses on Super Speed to take down bad guys.

    A device that enhances the speed/efficiency of many travel powers seems quite amazing! I wonder through how they might be applied even more variably to the vastly different travel powers.

    Super Speed is the trademark of "Faster than a speeding bullet.", "Be back in a flash.", and many others. It would be nice if this device, or an advantage, could increase certain characteristics of a travel power so that you don't have acrobatic characters catching up to a Speedster without some sort of ability that slows things down. (Gadgets and traps come to when fighting certain foes.)

    Wonderful idea none the less!

    All travel powers desperately need a speed increase; characters who define themselves by their speed are woefully left out when it comes to vehicles.
