Okay, there's an old Champions PnP character that I've wanted to bring to life for a long time now. CoH didn't give me the ability to really do it justice.

Dual Pistols/Martial Arts character named Hallowed Point (named after a Slayer song if you're curious)

I've got the basics figured out, and my plan is for him to have a particular playstyle rather than be focused on maximum damage potential (though he'll probably end up putting out respectable damage as well.

The main question I have is: What is the best martial arts kick attack for burst damage?

I'm going with Gunslinger for my EB, and the apparently stupidly popular Two Gun Mojo. I'm also taking Bullet Beatdown, Lead Tempest and Breakaway Shot.

My plan is to blast from range, Lunge in (probably Thunderbolt Lunge), land a couple big hits or fire off Lead Tempest if it's a group, and Breakaway Shot back out to range.

Damage output isn't my primary goal here, fighting with style is. The character in question is a bit of a showboater, kind of a modern day swashbuckler. With that in mind, it is extremely important for his fighting style to be as dramatic and stylish as possible.

I'm taking Thunderous Kicks fairly early for the added Dodge component, and I need advice on one or two more martial arts attacks to add to my arsenal, preferably kicks. It's probably more attacks than I really need, but I'm okay with that.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like a good set of attacks. For a build, s3rju's Munitions/Critical Hits Build should be close to what you need. Just replace some of his attacks with the ones you want.

I'm not going to answer your question about kicks, because I don't know Unarmed Martial Arts well enough. Instead,I'm going to add some things you might have missed.

There is no Form power that is specifically built for both ranged and melee attacks. However, Focus, granted by the various Martial Arts forms, works well for both. Ignore the seemingly small bonus - it stacks up to 8 times, and scales with yout Superstats, so it will give a much better bonus than it appears.
I'd recommend Dexterity primary for multiple reasons: The energy gain from Focus scales with Dex, Dex grants +Crit Chance (which triggers Form of the Tempest), and the Dex tree privides specs that boost Crits, and ones that boost Dodge (which triggers Form of the Master).

For your passive, I'd recommend Night Warrior (if you want to be stealthy) or Quarry (if you don't). Both will boost your Gun and Unarmed attacks, and add some extra Dodge and Avoid. Passives like Way of the Warrior or Unstoppable give a smaller bonus to ranged attacks, which already get a smaller bonus from your Form.
If you'd rather take a Defensive Passive, I'd recommend Lightning Reflexes, paired with Form of the Master.

My first choice would be Quarry + Form of the Tempest with Dex primary. The extra Ego from Audacity will shore up the lower ranged damage, the Dodge and Avoid in Quarry and the Dex tree will seriously reduce incoming damage, and Fair Game (the advantage on Quarry) will make it so you never need to heal, unless you're fighting one on one - it triggers off both kills and destroying objects, so spamming Lead Tempest in groups or near breakable objects will keep you full. And if you're stacking Dodge anyways, you should take Bountiful Chi Resurgence + the advantage for your heal. Remember that it's a Heal Over Time, and it applies a small damage debuff, so consider Resurgence and/or Masterful Dodge as panic buttons.

Depending on what you want from the character, look at Evasive Maneuvers as an alternative to Breakaway Shot. Like Breakaway Shot, it's a reverse lunge, but instead of extra damage, it buffs your Dodge for a time.

Dragon Kick's about the only MA kick with any sort of burst damage. It also has a nice stun, and synergizes well with Form of the Tempest (or any of the other MA forms).

I second the suggestion of Quarry as your passive. It's made for stuff like this, and works quite well (okay, so it works quite well with damn-near anything, but still...).

For a nice stylistic attack, you might consider Inexorable Tides.

I like to lunge into a mob, leg sweep, then start my close area attack.
