This build is very similar to the one I use only mine is designed more for damage. The only real problem I think you will have is that you may find this build a bit weak on the defensive side without constant maintenance. I would strongly recommend you forgo the advantage on force bolts and rank concentration. With endurance and Intelligence SS energy shouldn't be a problem so I see no reason why you would even find yourself using your energy builder.

I don't know why people build with Containment Blast on Cascade. It requires a full charge to trigger the hold and honestly, what general PvE trash mobs outside of alerts will survive a full charge? Containment Blast is worthless in my opinion.

I've said previously that I take it for the looks, not the effectiveness. cuz it looks cool you know?

Regardless. Without Field Inversion on Force Blast or Force Spate on Force Detonation you will ultimately be *helping* your enemies stay alive with the Containment since it reduces all damage dealt to them for the duration of the hold.

Start a Containment Field / Field Inversion SG. Team with them all the time. Stuff will kerplod.

You could also keep those advantages at the top of your list, so that you can switch them out easily.

Why is anyone still posting in this thread? This person consistently asks for opinions and critiques, yet shoots down any attempts to help improve the build(s). He/she only wants fawning praise and validation, not true criticism.

I stopped wasting my time months ago.

did I mention force blast also has a range of 100 feet and the build is intended to be able to do crowd control

I think I know Force pretty well. While true you can toss Field Inversion up to 100ft out your Cascade will knock enemies out of range and without any CC modifications going they'll break out of containment before you get a chance to get to them.

Also, rank 2 Force Cascade can't do this:

Your Force Cascade deals 19143 (22302) Crushing Damage to Imperator.

Your Force Cascade deals 20152 (22167) Crushing Damage to Test Dummy.
