Alex Mercer Build

Just for fun, I figured I'd try to make a build mimicing Alex Mercer of Prototype, here's what I came up with.

: Level 40 Champion

Superstats:
Level 5: Super Strength
Level 13: Super Constitution

Powers:
Level 1: Righteous Fists His normal attack.
Level 1: Viper's Fangs -- Rank 2, Spitting Cobra, Accelerated Metabolism The claw power, obviously.
Level 5: Thunderbolt Lunge -- Essence Assault In part for a travel cancel, and in part for Penny Arcade ("You can do a karake kick on a helicopter. What the **** else do you want!?")
Level 5: Acrobatics -- Versatility, Rank 2 He uses parkour.
Level 8: Regeneration -- Rank 2, Rank 3 He regenerates like mad
Level 11: Ebon Void -- Rank 2, Rank 3 His shield power, this resembles it the closest, I think
Level 14: Devour Essence -- Crippling Challenge Consume!
Level 17: Haymaker -- Nullifying Punch, Rank 2 In part for muscle mass, and in part because it's a good ability.
Level 20: Thunderclap -- Rank 2 One of the PBAoEs almost directly from prototype
Level 23: Iron Lariat Whipfist
Level 26: Tiger's Bite -- Mouth Of Madness, Rank 2 More claws, and it goes well in a combo with the other claw power.
Level 29: Grasping Shadows -- Unyielding Agony It's similar to a Claw power where things burst out of the ground at range, and he needed a hold.
Level 32: Havoc Stomp -- Cannonball, Rank 2 Again, the cannonball version of Havoc Stomp is almost a direct port from an attack he has in Prototype
Level 35: Ice Sheath I'm not sure how this looks, I've never seen it in action, but I think it could stand in for the armor ability if it's colored
Level 35: Flight Glide!
Level 38: Unbreakable Another thing to help with armor.

Talents:
Level 1: One Of Mind And Body
Level 6: Physical Conditioning
Level 9: Acrobat
Level 12: Bodybuilder
Level 15: Impresario
Level 18: Relentless
Level 21: Martial Focus

I wanted to fit Shockwave in there, it's also very similar to one of his powers in Prototype, but I already have a travel cancel in thunderbolt lunge and didn't know what to replace.

In any case, I just made this for fun. Let me know what ya think if it's any good or not.

    Prototype was a really fun game, the powers, the shapeshifting abilties, were just.. mindblowing.

    I hope this build works out for you, and who knows; i may decide to make my own Alex Mercer build up. ;p

    Good luck with that build! I hope it works cause playing as Alex Mercer was the most fun I ever had in a superpower game.

    I really wish the Dev's create a shapeshifting powerset in the future, i really do.. o:

    I would too, Catastros, but the technical/artistic side of shapeshifting onto multiple sizes alone is a huge undertaking, and could be even more of a headache here with the choices in base body-customization.

    Long time since this was posted, but I thought I'd give my own version of this build. A fair few of the powers are the same and stuff, but I've done some tweaks just for my own preference. Currently using this build at level 26, so I've yet to see how the later powers work with/look like with this build:
