So, I've been having some weird instance bugs because of either d/cs or other unrelated things, such as dying in a mission, but...
For starters, one of the missions in the New Purple Gang questline didn't seem to progress correctly, getting stuck on the 'investigate the sewers' part after I d/c'd once. Restarting the game and dropping/regaining the mission did not reset the instance to fix this, only further bugging it.
As for Toxic Takedown, this one is particularly odd. I died due to aggroing too many enemies, using an AOE attack to wipe out two of the tanks in the process. Oddly, after I died, a THIRD one seemed to be destroyed but the instance didn't count it. Meaning I could only destroy three out of four generation tanks, and thus could not complete the mission instance. Again, resetting/relogging did not fix this.
I'd gladly appreciate if anyone knows how to fix this issue, or if I should ditch these missions and move on.
To reset an instanced mission, you have to leave it and not enter it for 5 real world minutes. Otherwise, it just pops you back into the old, non-reset instance when you try to enter it again. Presumably, this is a feature to allow you to continue a mission should you D/C in the middle of it.
And no, dropping the mission and the like won't reset it. Still got to wait for 5 minutes. In fact, you don't even have to drop the mission - just leave the instance for 5 minutes.

Since it took 3 days for the GM's to say they couldn't help i am sure the mission is reset now.
I get to the Destroy the 4 tanks part but they are not targetable so how can they be destroyed?
