Costume Suggestion: Bubble Helmet Hair

Simple suggestion: I'd be thrilled if the devs would revisit the hair options available to females with the bubble helmets. I'm pretty sure that some of my favorites (the formal, pulp, and possibly golden age hairstyles) would fit under the helmet without clipping too badly.

I was bummed when I went to make my crazy retro spacegirl and couldn't use any of my crazy retro hairstyles (though I notice that the Harajuku hair was in there; whoever did the policing on those did a great job, because they show up everywhere!)

That's because they were made after the helmets while the other hair was made before. The new ones are made to compensate. When new costume parts are made, older ones are never altered to compensate.

This is another reason why giving players a full access tailor similar to the dev's tailor would be important.

Dr Cerebellum's sister Moon Unit has this problem constantly!

There's always going to be more clipping troubles with flying than hair with bubbledomes because the top of the head tends to poke out the back of many helmets when flying anyway, so if we can all put up with that then let us have some more hairstyles especially more retro ones!

If it's against unnecessary restrictions, I'm all for it.

Yeah, I gotcha. I don't think they should alter any geometry to fit under the helmet, I just think they need to add a few existing hairstyles to the list, as I'm pretty sure they'll fit with a comparable level of clipping to the current hairstyles.

As you say, a dev-style costume creator would be the best solution. But barring that, I just want my pulp hair under my bubble helmet. And it is, after all, all about what I want.
