Bullet Bound for Biselle! - Viper X on vacation.

So I heard Bullet Bound for Biselle! open mission was bugged as it did not start at all. Then me and a friend found out it was fixed. Got through it and cracked our fingers awaiting Viper X.

Only problem, he didn't appear.

I heard the same thing from a few people and think I saw it being mentioned on the Zone. Hope it gets looked at.

    the Mission has been bugged since the Launch of ALERTS, it's Bugged 1 Year now
    Sometimes it never starts, and sometimes it starts without Viper-X
    POWERFRAME REVAMPS, NEW POWERS and BUG FIXES > Recycled Content and Events and even costumes at this point Introvert guy who use CO to make his characters playable and get experimental with Viable FF Theme builds! Running out of Unique FF builds due to the lack of updates and synergies! Playing since 1 February 2011 128 + Characters (21 ATs, 107 FFs) ALTitis for Life!

    That can't be right since I remember completing it a number of times. Its only recently this has happened.

    What avianos said. Hasn't been working since On Alert. If onlyepicwolf got it working, more power to him. I've wasted several hours in the past six months waiting around for it to start with various characters of various levels, but the supply officer never has a dialog, and speaking to the Mayor does nothing except elicit the same pun. I ran it with several characters successfully before On Alert. Whatever circumstances are required for it to run must be rare, and will remain unquantifiable because most players have given up on it. It's notoriously broken.

    If you want to do it, be sure to log onto the game immediately after a maintenance. That's the only time it ever works.

    Apparently no one pays attention in Alerts.

    In Radiation Rumble Mayor Biselle clearly states he will have to postpone his speech. The game proper is just accounting for that.

    Then there is the Fighting City Hall alert where he wonders if Peoria is looking for a new mayor.

    So obviously, those times when there is not cleanup of the radiation he's in Peoria scouting his potential new digs. Its so obvious.

    Correct.

    Biselle's event works exactly ONCE for each zone that gets fired up. Then it doesn't work again until the zones reset.

    And even if you do get it to start, AND Viper X spawns (he doesn't always), AND you complete it, you still might not get the Open Mission Perk. I soloed it last week - I had several hundred thousand points, the next was under 200, and there was nobody nearby the whole time - and I didn't get the Perk.

    Yup. Took me completing it three times on three different instances post-maintenance for the Open Mission Perk to take -- just adds frustration onto frustration.

    Actually nope. They didn't just poped up to CO. Been working CO, STO and NW officially since january.
