Another version of my thread... With a slight more friendly manner. I just wanna say something.

FUN is a big concept... Everyone has their own way of having fun. Some people have "fun" that I don't understand. Some people go around ganking and ganging up on one person and call it fun. Some people call each other names and call it fun. I don't find that fun at all. Lately, because of these reasons, I've really had hard time to have fun.

Are you really having fun?

I will say GG after a game, even if it isn't. I have a lot to say after each game but I keep these thoughts to myself, because I am trying to remind myself that it's only a game and it's not serious. But some people tend to make this serious. I will say GG because I will not stoop to their level, and just because some of these people are complete *******s, doesn't mean I have to be one too. Playing fair is a nonexistant concept in Hero Games, so it's hard to be the good guy/girl. It's hard to call myself an example, but damn, I'm trying to be.

I know you guys are people too. You are a person. I'm sure if I ever met one of you guys in real life, I could see that it's a normal person behind that computer, that cares about others.

Sportsmanship. All of you should try it sometimes. It's hard to break out from old habits that you all have been used to, but please. I am still a nobody but listen to me for once. We say mean things to each other... Maybe we mean every word. What can we do? All we can do is say Sorry, and move on.

I will PM you people in game and talk about this. THis probably will be pointless but IF you don't want to listen to me, ignore Penny@Pallih, thank you. (I will probably get muted LOL)

I am not trying to act like an angel, bringing good word and being somekind of a saint, dang it. I am tired of all the fighting. I am not also a real life therapist/doctor, I just work at the social services with a low pay. :biggrin:

Ahh... It's so nice to know that we still have good people in PvP cult who knows what good sportsmanship is. After ON-ALOOOLRTS patch kicked in I stopped playing hero games. I wanted to come back, but the current atmosphere in coPvP just stops me for doing it.

It's true. Current state of coPVP is rotten. I don't really blame you for not playing Hero games.

What I'm trying to accomplish with this thread is that the people will sit down and talk about this. To talk in civil manner and maybe even apologize. I am waiting for one person (not specific) to be that mature one, mature enough to gets things started. You can't all be forever hating. This is difficult for you people, but atleast try.

I say "good game" about 80% of the time. I only say it when I mean it. That other 20% of the time, the match was grossly unbalanced (then it's not a gg no matter which side I'm on), or some players were behaving in unfriendly ways.

I don't care about winning/losing, I just want good, fair fights where both players get to do lots of "pew pew." I'm fine with losing 10 times in a row, as long as it's not because I'm perma stun-locked or can't target my opponent, etc (and a few losses to that stuff is fine, it just gets old more quickly). Zeta Man and Penny are pretty even I think, and if we were the only two people in bash and you beat me 10 - 0, I would consider that a great game.

I don't care about winning either, I am there for the fun. Of course winning is one of the goals in Hero Games, but I don't go after squishies or AT's. It doesn't feel like victory If I just picked on the little ones. Sometimes I get beaten pretty hard in Hero Games and I don't really care.

Gotta admit, not often people have acted disrespectfully towards me. I will probably say GG even if someone calls me names after a game. I will let him/her think what he just did.

Good sportsmanship isn't completely dead, I'm just not known widely enough that someone could say "yeah, that guy is cool about ___", or whatever. So don't fret too badly

I, like you, know that there is a real person behind the monitor, wherever they may be. And honestly, I don't play these types of games to make enemies, I play them to make new friends. I've met some of my best friends in MMO's. And yes, I've met over half of them IRL. One was even the best man at my wedding (but we won't talk about that XD )

So, if anything Pallih, at least you know one person is hearing what you are saying

That sounds really nice and it cheered me up a bit thank you! :biggrin: I don't play games to make enemies either, I don't think anyone here wants to make enemies, it just takes a bit of extra work to get along with different types of personalities and people. Not everybody is willing to go that extra mile, but I seriously encourage people to do so.

Every single time someone posts about everyone playing nice.. that person is doing the same stuff as everyone else; i.e. telling people to stop ganging up on specific people over and over... after they just got done doing it themselves that very day the post was made. It always seems like a trap... and in a way, it always is.

Face it guys, champions pvp isn't a first world democracy, it's a war torn third world nation populated by roving gangs in military trucks and anyone dumb enough to lower their defenses and open their arms with a message of friendship is just leaving themselves open for a bullet to the head. There's a reason they don't send you any aid... and it's because they know that aid would just be intercepted and stolen by the roving **** gangs.

We heard Smooch's theory about this game being a war torn third world country, populated by roving gangs, thieves and a like, a place where friendship is a sign of weakness. A place where we should just fight and there is no hope for the better. We should just kill each other and get it over with, right? It's just that we all are first world citizens, fighting in a third world country.

And that my friend, is bull****.

The most recent alt account of Luci's is @smoochanissopro, so how can you sit there and fault smooch for claiming this thread is a trap? Luci is your friend and your problem, Penny. Not ours. She had her chance to be nice long ago. I even posted a thread asking for peace and she **** all over it. No sympathy for the devil.

My post towards Smooch wasn't that serious tho and the bull**** bit is from the Penn & Teller show.

Well fine, long bitter hatred. What did she do? IS all this hatred towards her because what she has said in bash or anywhere in game? Can you believe this: I really DON'T KNOW.

Educate me, please. I know so little of the history of Hero Games Community. I wanna hear your story. I am just trying to understand.

Okay I'm not going to say I'm perfect at all in the matter as I know my team caused a few problems when we were playing a bit. You see the big problem was that we all talk to each other on vent all the time (a team talking program if you don't know what that is) and where you say everyone is human behind the character, you find that even more so when you actually speak to them by voice instead of typing as you can link a voice to them suddenly. This makes it very hard for us to kill each other without causing problems, I well know that you don't attack certain people too.

Recently I have been trying to kill the guy at the top and people who don't play fair only. The only tagging or hits on the people who aren't at the top and playing fair would be because of the AOE from my ice grenades or if they are unlucky enough to stand next to the target of my strafing run. Sometimes, even if I am almost getting killed by them I will leave them be. Then you have a certain super group that is now going around killing squishys and team spawn killing. I ask them to stop, their leader only seems to know how to throw insults and his members think that it's fun to kill squishys to try starting a SG war.

I am in no way perfect but my build was made to defeat people who always get 10-0, I still need some work to kill many people such as yourself although the idea is that if someone is dominating, the rest of us still have a chance not to get owned by a 10-0. I agree, many people need to grow up and see players as people instead of just a character. The only problem is that how can you stop people from playing so unfairly? You can't exactly expect them to suddenly change who they are. It's a tough one for sure.

Yeah I can't expect to change how people play in Bash. I can't change how people behave because they are not that stupid. They know exactly what are they doing. Truth to be told, I have a lot of allies in BASH that won't attack me and I won't attack them. YOu'd be surprised how many people has Penny recruited in to her Adorable Army of Darkness. :biggrin: And now I am talking about BASH. If one of my friends (Including Luci) is on the opposing team or a zombie in ZA, I will kill em, because my team is that matters that time.

I mostly duel with buddies like Sgt Mahoff and Callmebro those two guys are 100% drama free. If you want to have fun just ignore the drama you find in all MMO's.

I didn't threaten to farm you, I threatened that I will start to target you if you keep on randomly picking me out even when I'm not at the top. I told you that I can see you while you tunnel so I see you come under me, it just so happens that while I am trying to kill the guys at the top in bash it can be frustrating to have some random people on you back constantly while you don't really want to attack them.

I do what most people don't do and actually pick a target, saying this I don't target players who will be easy kills but I target the tanky guys at the top with high dodge, some of whom farm squishys. Sorry for getting angry at you, you caught me at a bad time I suppose.

People never go in for UTC, I don't get it... Even when you post everywhere people just seem to refuse to queue up for it. The only problem is both how high the chance of you getting kicked is, also if there's one really strong player in there then he may just dominate everyone on the other team.

I was going to talk to burns the next time I see him about the possibility of getting some sort of pvp league or tournament's going with worthwhile prizes. It may be hard to get it going but I think maybe if it does get going pvp will grow more in the game than the state it is currently in at the moment. We certainly can't expect the nonexistent dev's to do things to fix the problems in the game but if we do the same as the other parts of the game have (costume contests and RP) by attempting to enforce rules to player ranked duel then maybe we can start to bring more than the 30 pvpers there seem to be in the game at the moment.

I just hope that people will support this idea and not just put a bunch of downs on it like they usually do.

As far as PvP and myself go, if I'm feeling suicidal or want to be blown up, I'll queue for a BASH or UTC. Generally from what I encounter PvP builds -seem- to be the same cut and paste job with a few tiny differences.

My favorite PvP maps are Stronghold and Zombie Apoc, reason being is that there is somewhere to explore rather than constantly getting up and dying..

I dont think its possible for someone to want to farm me, because I am just that bad :biggrin:

I usually weigh up an opponent before I engage them in combat, if I can see its going to be a "fun for them with 2GM, Force Geyser, Sonic Device + Strafing Run style and a nice "lol@noobz4tryin" addition at the end of the battle then I tend to steer clear of them.

I'll say Good Game only if I feel I lost in a decent manner, i.e. I was allowed a few hits before I sunk like a stone or I found something pretty darn hilarious. Which is most of the time.

I don't like rude people..just puts me in a bad mood.

I like Stronghold and Zombie too, King of the hill and UTC are fun for me too. But even if we get enough players to do these, the queue is so broken it will most likely remove you from the map. It's so annoying, I stop trying after a few attempts

KoTH was awesome, I tried it once and I loved it, there were a few ATs and some really good DPS and Support toons on the other team, I cant remember who won it but it was the best fun I've had in a while.

i try to be polite
