Maintenance 5/16 [Complete]

Maintenance will begin at 7AM PDT on 5/16, and will not involve a patch.

Start time: 7 AM PDT / Server Time
Estimated duration: 1 - 2 hours

In addition, we'll be starting the Bloodmoon event. This will not happen right after maintenance, though -- it'll start at noon PDT. Learn more here.

    PLEASE tell me this will fix the INSANE ping/rubber banding of late..I mean I've rubber banded badly before...but now I rubber band so hard my lunges connect BUT I get no CD...

    Will the BM event come with associated lockboxes? :eek:

    If so...I forsee key prices rocketing and sales from C-store going up lol

    No, we won't be bringing back the Takofanes lockbox this weekend.

    Not everyone dislikes the lockboxes... I hope they return at some point myself :wink:

    Honestly, lockboxes are a great idea if the rewards are worthwhile.

    after checking for patches I have;

    server status green-
    unable to connect to account server(3)
    PLAY is lit up but pressing it does nothing.

    eventually went to next screen, which went black and did nothing, until the whole thing vanished and I got

    Fatal error: Unable to initialise on- demand patching and connection to patch server: the connection was idle for too long.

    To add insult to injury- Cryptics error log turned up and crashed as I tried to write in it

    So... any news on any new powersets or any powers in old powersets being reworked? Anything and I mean anything? It would bring tears of joy to my face if only I knew this game was still remotely being worked on. So please anything?

    I experience a lot of lag for the past 2 days.
    I keep getting rubberbanding and unable to jumps towards a target in which I got pushed back once I lunge forward.

    The rewards are never worth it as long as it is gambling and you only get crap.

    So now .. they are only worth it (imo) if you are lucky or rich.

    Dang, I was hoping we'd see some more Tako lockboxes. Still, excited to see Blood Moon again. Thanks for bringing this back.

    'Don't play on Patch Day' still as true as always.
    The furthest I got was the character select screen...in two out of roughly twenty times I tried to play today. No crashes though, just no connectivity...as if the login server is blinking in and out of existence.
    I don't know what you've done, but every now and then I'd like to actually play the game I'm paying for:frown:.
    So please fix this mess.

    Of course this game is still being worked on....we got a race course didn't we???

    Redcap, you posted at 8:57 am PDT. Ergo, the server was quite possibly offline for maintenance at the time. Try again.

    Have you tried since then, is it still happening? That's a weird error, I'm not sure what would cause it.

    As someone who collects and fuses mods for my friends and myself, i do love the lockboxes, I just wish the keys were cheaper.

    Ah thanks, sometimes the different timezones and daylight saving stuff confuse me.
    From what I gathered at that point I should've been able to play for around two hours... mea culpa.
