Muted... Again.

Hi, my in-game handle is @narfball and I was muted. Again. By a troll. This was the message I recieved for doing /emote dance_runningman: [20:35] Rook@(BLEEPINGTHEHANDLEBECAUSEOFFTHECHAIN): **** off troll. (Bleeped out so I'm not banned.) I reported said player afterwards, then got MUTED. [20:36] You have been flagged as a spammer. A customer service representative has been notified. You may chat again in 24 hours, 0 minutes, and 0 seconds. Ain't that fun? Anyway, this is an illegitimate reason to be chatbanned. No one cares though, because 100,000 people are muted a day without any say in it. This is just here to let people know that I'm an angry player and no one else really cares. Yay.

    Naming other players is also considered as punishable offence.

    100,000 people a day? oh yeah, i forgot that the muting in other 2 games gets you muted in all 3.
    And it's not going away. Since it's working as intended.

    I am nowsilenced 2 time,but for what ???
    I am only friendly and not spamm the chat
    2 time I am silenced for nothing great great ...

    Chances are you talked about some unpopular subject around some touchy people or something, and they put you on ignore. Enough ignores and you're silenced. Sucks, but happens to lots of people.

    That's just the thing. I wasn't talking about ANYTHING. I was doing an EMOTE. I had the chat log copypasted and just copypasted what needed to be copied and pasted. I can't access chat logs but I know that I was in the powerhouse and said nothing. I was in Team Chat while doing an emote talking to some friends. SUDDENLY, WILD MUTE. Yay. Anyway I'm over this, seeing as how I'm not muted (And soon to be muted again).

    Har har har! Your globally muted cherry was popped huh? Don't worry about it, sometimes it just happens. I myself, becoming a leading expert in the subject :wink:, don't mind it too much anymore. In fact I don't even get chat banned anymore. Maybe they found me boring or something...:confused:

    In anycase, don't let it dishearten you, I'm sure you can do other things while for a while! :biggrin:
