Ghost characters?

Is there any way to get a transparent ghost effect for your character like the ghosts in Burnside?If not there really needs to be even if its just a transformation device like the become Black Talon or size changing devices in the C Store.

The only ghost thing you can have for your character that ive seen is just the ghost cowboy hat.I have a silver account so unless im wrong and there is some way to get that effect and its available only for gold id love to know.Im planning on upgrading sometime this month anyway.

    Well in 3 years I haven't found a way to acomplish such an effect, but then there's stealth that turns you into a ghostly silhoute. Given that, they COULD quite easily make a device to "ghostify" you with relatevily small effort, but would they really bother? I wouldn't get my hopes up.

    There's a legacy device you can get, [Elder Worm Humidity Dome]. If I recall correctly, when it is active, your toon is transparent like a ghost similar to how Witchcraft's astral projection appears.

    That could actually be nice chacter-wise, provided one of his SS is recovery. Normally a ghost, but solidifies to fight. Heck, makes me want to get that thing myself a little.

    Yeah but the Elder Worm device is hard to get because of the randomness of the Legacy Kit and Drifter Salvage currency is hard to obtain.Id much rather just pay 450 zen($5) at the C-Store or whatever amount those devices normally are then go through that trouble.

    Creating a ghost character with a rather simple effect that lots of npcs already have shouldn't be this difficult.

    Which power set contains the stealth effect?Ive seen people becoming ghost like but I assumed it was some random device that people got for a mission.Is it the night avenger?Because when ever I get around upgrading to gold I could just do a freeform character with that power.

    Well I see that in the questionite store there is a become ghost device.I guess I could buy zen and convert it to questionite.

    You could, obviously, but if you choose stealth simply for the sake of character, keep in mind it forces you into a "creeping" stance and you move slower while it's active, and if you don't want you character to be useless in battle, your build will have to take full advantage of stealth (even though it comes with a huge spiking attack), which may not suit your character. It's your call, but it's not worth it if you ask me.

    That stealth/invisibility power comes with the Night Warrior passive.

    You can find it under the Gadeteering powerset, I think.

    nope the Night Warrior passive is in the Martial Arts power set

    I saw the Elder Worm dome for sale on the Auction Exchange but it was ridiculously expensive.Like 300 something resources I only have 189 resources right now.I did have 400 or so resources a couple days ago but I spent a bunch on until/primus costume pieces that were for sale on the exchange so I didnt have to waste the recommendations on them and instead use those to buy health packs and stuff.

    Personally I was looking for something more like

    -Invisible Both arms
    -Invisible both legs
    -Invisble Head skin (useable with hats/half helmets/ Huge Helmets)

    And stuff like that to make some "Ghost Armor", "Invisble man/woman" or "Headless Vengeful spirit" stuff

    But they never came around to make something like that, and with the current state of the dev team I doubt we will ever see anything like it

    Protip: Take Acrobatics as your travel power, activate Sneak, then Acrobatics and the speed issue is no more.
    Don't forget to get the 1 Advantage Point of Sneak that allows you to keep running when sneaking!

    If you charge Telekinetic Eruption, you will be transparent and astral-looking. Can be colored but lasts for 15 sec(30 with advantage). Also buffs Ego damage and gives resistance to all damage.

    A possibility would be using the Holo skin (from PSI and Holo Hex pieces) as a material for tights/skin. If the darkest black is selected as the color, this material becomes invisible, unless an aura is applied to it. :wink:
    But some people would likely make completely invisible characters and put them to no-good use...

    Glass skin would be safe, I think.

    Suggest it as an aura.

    They said cosmetic auras are coming up on the agenda soon for CO this year.
