How do you put people on the forums on "Ignore"?

Used to be you could do it from within their profile, but if it's there I'm not seeing it.

There are a few users who's posts I just never want to read again and who's existence I don't want to be reminded of.

    I always find it odd how these forums do not have such a function.

    But, I have a very good internal filter, and rather thick skin, so the kinds of things you describe dont bother me.

    The odd thing? Over in the Neverwinter forums, the ignore function is present and working.

    You have to manually put in the name of the one you want to ignore, and it's in the "user cp" section, but hey.
    Occam's Razor makes the cutting clean.

    The NW forums are on a different version of vBulletin -- they're on vb4, these forums are on a heavily-modded version of vb3. Eventually we'll be upgrading Champions to vb4.

    Before you read any post, keep your eyes to the left where the avatar portraits are. If you see the portrait and name of a person who you want to ignore, then just keep scrolling down and don't look to the right until you see the portrait and name of a person you don't want to ignore.


    Yeah I know... that's not the answer you were looking for... but it's the actual answer to your question.

    Yeah. Such a thing would have kept me from being permabanned on STO forums (where an unremitting a-hole caught me at a very bad point and I essentially doused myself in mod gasoline).

    Trying very hard not to repeat that here.
