    That would seriously be a bugger for whoever wants to spend $200 bucks on this one.

    which is why i brought it up
    a friend of mine got the stormrider (post alerts)and it didnt unlock
    no reason to think the others would work

    I really hate hearing about all these things that were removed before I started playing, and don't work any more -IF- you can find one.

    They need to add all the power replace items and travel powers back. Ideally, the TPs would be added to the Zen or Questionite store at regular prices, and weapons bundled and added to the Zen store -AND- put into the next wave of lockboxes, one random weapon where the current boxes have an XP/Resource/whatever buff.

    I see no reason why it wouldn't work. Bacon Overlord has a few, Caliga also and I didn't hear them complaining. And in description it says Bind On Equip, not to acc. And it's a device as far as i know. Like Dark Speed. Except this is a relic. Now stop scaring away potential buyers. :P

    I will ask Caliga and Bacon, if they confirm, i will edit/repost.
    Given the huge price tag of your wares it should be checked to see if it will do what people think it will do, being that its an unknown you aren't at fault for posting.
    The fact remains that if some one buys this they will expect it to unlock the travel power account wide be cause that was what they did if you had them when the alerts patch hit
    1. Sckarkden bought the stormrider and it didnt unlock the TP account wide
    2. Having a CTP before alerts unlocked the power account wide
    3. We are a community and we share information, thats how communities work, if Bacon and Caliga confirm that they obtained it after alerts and it worked i will edit add that to the post, but as of now i have 1 confirmation that the account wide unlock no longer works

    Hmm. I could probably check this one on PTS, but I'll need someone to help gather information. Forumites -- do any of you have this item? If one of you can link it in chat when I'm in-game, I can use Dev Vision to investigate it.

    Also, I don't know how these originally worked. Just to verify, the question is whether this is account-bound, right? Or does getting it grant the device to every character on your account?

    EDIT:Oh just saw it must work like a device and pps say it's fx kinda differs.

    They work as devices. Mine which I had before is still usable.
    The question is whether they unlock the TP from the TP list with it.

    As far as I know they only unlocked the travel power for people who had the Devices before the crafting changeover in April last year.

    There were two versions of each Crafted Travel Power. The base version (for example, the [Cutting-Edge Storm Rider Augmentation]) was Bind on Pickup. However, there was an optional project that would convert this item to Bind on Equip (for example, the [Cutting-Edge Storm Rider 1.1 Augmentation]) so that you can trade it to other players.

    My guess is that only the BoP version of the Crafted Travel Power grants the travel power unlock. The legacy item kit awards the BoE version which does not.

    I made all 3 rank 1's. I have all 3 TP's becasue I had the devices before the change. See blog link in my previous post.

    i had a BoE stormrider before the alerts patch that did unlock it for all characters, but i know one person that equipped a BoE stormrider after alerts that wasnt able to unlock for his account.
    i would be impossible to equip a BoP CTP after the alerts patch since they were impossible to build at that point

    As far as I know, it's a device. Same principle as DS. Use it, it's bound to your toon.

    Edit: It does not drop from legacy device kit, it's still the crafted one.
