Builds by the Powertree?

Alright, we all love our awesome pvp builds n stuff, but let's discuss which power tree actually has the more firepower in that area. I'm saying that all offensive powers must come from the same power tree. We know that all the power sets are not balanced, and this would be the fun way to discuss those things. Yeaahh mofo, you up for the challenge?

Heals, passives, form, these you can choose freely. Am talking about FIREPOWER. YYEAAHHH. FIrepower not including having every build with Force Gaysir, that belongs in the Force. :biggrin:

Lemme start:

Archery is my obvious favourite. it has the damage, knock backs, debuffs, roots all that stuff. It can be viable in pvp if you know how to build. I'm not saying I can, but archery is fun both in pve and in pvp for me. Interesting fact that all of my archery attacks on Katherine are AoE. Fun!

Alright, that's archery for me. But how about Ice, Fire, wind, EARTH etc? I've never seen ANYBODY PVP with EARTH powers, are they that bad? xD

    From what I've heard, Earth would be the perfect PVP set, if you've got a top end computer. Just pick all the particle-spamming powers, and kill the other guy with lag.

    Oh yah I know the problems with Earth powers making your computer almost die. Same with Hurricane from wind. Geez.

    Speaking of Celestial, it has no alpha attacks. At all. Which is weird. Why have a passive that increases your damage if it barely does anything? FOOLS! Yeah, okay, It's supposed to be a healer... but ehhh I find AOPM work much better for a healer.

    Gadgets would be great, if only there were better choices for the first three powers. No one wants to be forced to choose two from Concentration, Molecular Self-Assembly, Bionic Shielding, Sonic Device, Nanobot Swarm, etc. We really need more tier 1 gadget powers that are good in PvP. :biggrin:

    Alright am back and much more drunk

    Nowadays you can undo your your choices for free whenever you start a new character, like gadgeteeringm you can start with your EB and Pulse beam rifle, and PBR is AWESOME. :biggrin: Pew pew! There is your single target dps! :biggrin:Mix that with sonic devices n stuff, and it should be good to go. Omg sonic device you naab.

    Also, purpose of this thread is actually to SHARE your knowledge with players. You have some awsum ideas for builds, well, share em! maybe we can copy your build! right? :biggrin:
    I know people are very knowledgable. (is that an english word?)

    Thanks for the contribution Malw, I actually had almost identical build once. tho I would swap REC with something else cuz with Electric form you already have increased energy Equilibrium. :biggrin: Dontcha think? It's also mixing powers from different powersets to make it work, cuz yeah, gadgeteering is also missing the ALPHAMALE attacks. But here is something funny: :biggrin:

    True enough. Int would be better than Rec. Has synergy with MSA, among other things.

    Once again, you don't know what you're talking about. Not every build is best with INT & MSA.

    Right.

    I never like staying in one powerset; not enough powers are as good as they sound like they are.

    Nepht sticks to the bestial/infernal trees pretty close. Build wise she cant cope with the current FOTM ebon ruin destroying regeneration and all that jazz, but she has won her share of duels and even won at BASH a few times. I have to admit I do like giving serious PvPers a bit of a bloody nose even if they do beat me.

    Sticking to a tree for a build that you will PvP with is viable as long as you remember not to freak out when you get steamrolled now and then because your not going to be a PvP powerhouse.

    Remember this and these builds can be a lot of fun.

    Superman is more powerful than Batman but we all know who is cooler :P

    Fire tree is best tree. Just take all the powers in the fire tree and you will be a pvp god. Here is a picture to prove it:
