I do a bit of art whenever I get the chance to... Between actual art projects and general laziness. This thread will be dedicated to some of the stuff I do.
Some more pics to add, this time of my melee tank toon, Felicia Gallon.
The first image is done with a line liner pen, Prismacolour markers, a white gel pen and white coloured pencil. Second is done entirely in coloured pencil (It's an oldy).
Some sketches of characters I did. The middle one's more of something I tried to translate over to CO, but just couldn't be as epic as I wanted it to be.
I'll be honest, I'm not entirely thrilled with how this turned out, seeing as I really rushed the colouring in one night. I am sorta happy with how the anatomy turned out, but I really don't know. I'd like a little bit of feedback on this if at all possible.

It takes a good artist to acknowledge their flaws. That's why I'm an EXCELLENT ARTIST!
I'm gonna look closely and see what I can suss out with the anatomy. Also, if any of what I say goes against deliberate style choices, feel free to disregard. I don't draw skeletal and muscle structure in a realistic way. I make a lot of crap up. So take all this with the proverbial grain of salt! Whatever that means.
First I'd define the abdominals a bit. It's like she's got two big ol muscles there.
Her hips seem a bit thick, but who doesn't love dat badonkadonk?
I personally would exaggerate the pose a bit more. Look up "contrapposto." I had no idea what that was called until Brou said it.
Last, as far as the face goes, it looks like you're going for a manga style. First thing I would do is put the eyes closer to the middle of the head, vertically speaking. Adjust from there - smaller mouth, smaller and lower nose. Leave a lot of forehead. Basically, look at the facial proportions of a kitten. Big-**** eyes, forehead for weeks, small lower-face. Maybe not exaggerate that much, but it'll put you closer to where you might want to be. Look up Golden Ratio and facial structure. Nerds basically found out how to mathematically determine who is pretty.
Okay I said that was the last thing but I'm a liar. Hand on the hip, I would expect the fingers to be pointing downward, not up. Put your hand on your hip and see how the fingers rest on it. When drawing, I often take a picture of my own hands as reference material.
And finally, the sleeve. I'm terrible at clothes folds, so I can't give you any direct pointers. Google is our friend. Just look up something like "elbows clothes folds" or something and you'll turn up something useful.
Reference material is great. Search and download a ton of it. Poses, clothing, faces, whatever. No artist should be without reference material. Hooray for the Age of Google!
I do want to mention that I admire all the work done non-digitally, especially the colors. I'm so bad with color, so lots of envy there!

Just at a glance;
The foreshortening on the arms is off, or the anatomy is ill proportioned. It could be because of incorrect folding of the clothing or a lack of proper lighting, but without seeing the construction art I can't tell.
The chest seems too small (chest, not breasts) for the head and torso it's between. Looking at your other images it doesn't seem like it's a consistent problem. Though it does look to me like you have problems getting all of the parts in proportion to each other. This might be due to lens distortion in the reference photos you're using, or just because you're focusing on getting each part "right" instead of the overall cohesion of the figure. It creates inconsistency between your drawings which makes me feel that it's not a style thing.
I have no idea, but looking at the other images you posted I suspect you're really into sexy abs which is why they have the most focus.
As for the head, I do find the eyes are a bit higher on the skull than I like, but it's easy to dismiss that as a personal style thing.
Is the tail coming out of the end of the spine or the small of the back? I know a lot of artists use the small of the back because it makes it easier to show butts, but anatomically a tail is just a spine longer than ours.
I never draw clothing folds "properly" but a simple think to do is to look at yourself in a mirror and notice where your body is pulling on the clothing and making it fold. A rule of thumb is that the fold lines will go from joint to joint, and from roll to roll.
If you still have the construction layers of your images that'd be a great help in getting to the bottom of where any of your problems lie. Like a strong house, a strong image depends on the foundation it was built upon.
I know, I'm being dumb and necroing my own crap thread, but I just wanted to give a bit of a heads-up:
I'm probably gonna drop my DA in a trash fire since I really don't feel good being associated with the site anymore and I'm probably gonna move them over to Tumblr. I know folks here have a sort dumb aversion to Tumblr because (Insert lazy as f SJWs joke here), but I feel a little better puting my stuff up there.
If you have an aversion to: Tiddy Anime And dirt
feel free to not follow. Don't feel obligated to follow if you don't want to.

Honestly kinda miffed with a lot of stuff in this pic, but I still like the pose and expression.
Also, I'm sorry for necroing this thread so much. I'm a very slow artist.
