Even Caliga, has a limit

I've given the game such a long time to atleast keep me a bit content, but its getting harder and harder every day just by looking at the forums, and of course, the state of the game, if there is any state at all!

So with that said, I would like to challenge Cryptic to have the Aura Slots promised this year to be completed before or on September 21st 2013, the end of summer. Surely something this simple and most likely just cosmetic doesn't take this long. I mean it already has partial coding on the PTS does it not???

Anyway, I've been part of the game since the start of F2P, so while I am not "old" old, I do consider myself a veteran of this game and it pains me to watch it in this state.

So please, consider this deadline, or the majesty of King Caliga flies off to another universe!

I may leave even sooner than that, Caliga. The thing is, they just don't care. This isn't malice or even incompetance on thier part. It's just indifference, which is frankly worse if you ask me.

March 31st until September 21st is a more than generous amount of time to get anything implemented into this game. It's way more time that I would have given them if I were issuing an ultimatum at least.

I think the "Ask Cryptic" already had your answer: they plan to work on a few more temporary events, and then create an event rotation.

Two more events says to me, spring (Forum Malvanum) and summer.

Because the Aura Slots are not happening.
If they can't put the Auras in the Character Creator, it's not happening. Sadly.

Yes, we are planning to spend some time this year to get the Aura system finished.

Please note they are "planning" to spend "some" time this year to get the Aura system finished.

No actual promise.

If auras are NOT added to the character creator/tailor and are instead aura slots, than I think its safe to say that there will be no more substantial improvement added to the game until the end of its days.

Those aura slots need to be reserved for power replacer type fluff and put actual auras into a new tab in the tailor. Otherwise I'm not going to put any effort into it and will discourage everyone I know and people in zone to turn away from it.

I've given them 3 months after NWO's live release to implement true change in staff numbers or add something substantial to the game's advancement. After that I'll put the game down and only log on when new "stuff" comes into the game so I'm not left behind. Making that one log in every several months.

It sucks, but I can no longer be investing any time in this game I love if the relationship never gets more exciting. In fact its gone stale since mastering the On Alert system. I can't be with you anymore if the only fun and excitement we have is going out to dinner once every several months.

Please stop deluding yourselves, and creating things to get angry about later.

Aura slots are going to be items you slot and bind to your character.
It will be tied into lockboxes and the questionite vendors.

It may not happen this year.

And that will only piss people off...

Auras should be added to the costume creator... like you know that old game that closed?

If they want to monetize they could... you know... release more costumes??? Maybe think about doing SG bases? Overhaul the Nemesis system? maybe giving the option for gold accounts (and expensive option for silvers) to create their own nemesis minions???

I dont say no more lockboxes... but not as THE ONLY thing... they could still release lockboxes along with other things

No planned chnages to nemesis or , no sg bases, no costume sets....

we have a few events and the aura slots they plan to spend some time on,

Buxom, if you want to see the chances of more devs after Nevermind starts play, go read through their forums and see the planned expansions to map, classes, etc.

No need to get depressed over that. You've been here long enough to know the game. NW is going to be released half finished with a minimum of classes on the "promise"* new stuff will be added to fill in the gaps.

I'm sure we have heard something similar here before.

Said promise should only be viable if NW makes a boat load of money or until the next project is announced.
