A stronger MA kick power

It doesn't have to be all about the fists. It's about time we get a MA kick power that deals damage comparable to any charged melee attack currently available, like Haymaker or Burning Chi Fist. Even Might has its own charged kick power. I would love to see either a roundhouse or flying kick sort of power that sends the target flying from the impact.

I'd use this simply because it'd be a great 'GET BACK' attack.

I think we'd need more than one. Maybe a more 'martial artsy' one and another 'kick the damned door off its hinges and through the next wall' kick.

A roundhouse kick could be a Martial Arts equivalent of Roomsweeper. And a flying kick could work kinda like Vicious Descent.

As a kickboxer (just a past time and a way to stay in shape

) and a LOVER of kicks I say HELL YES!! :biggrin:

I'd like something similar to Sword Cyclone perhaps? In the AoE Sense, something like Rouge's (from Sonic The Hedgehog) signature Screw Kick, a flying spinning kick.

I'm sick of having Dragon Kick as the highest damaging kick in game Q_Q

I would like to see a backflip kick with a powerful knock up, like Marshall Law from Tekken does.

And yeah, some sort of hurricane kick thing would be cool.

And a lunging side kick with a powerful knock back too ( not a lunge... like what lunging means in real life )

Given that leg muscles are generally stronger than arm muscles (due to the whole "supporting the rest of your body and moving it around all day" thing), it would make perfect sense for the strongest MA attack to be a kick - in fact, for all the strongest attacks to be kicks. Slower than punches, but harder.

CoX had this one kick that just felt really powerful... you basically delivered a standing sideways kick. It was fast, felt powerful, and looked right. Too many of the kicks we currently have are too flashy, and something fast, powerful, and impressive in its simplicity is just what we need.

Found it:

Crane Kick (technically, it was a side kick and not a crane kick)
Level 8 (Tier 1)
Melee, High DMG(Smash), Foe Knockback

And the flying kick was the most powerful Martial Arts attack in CoX:

Eagle's Claw
Level 32 (Tier 3)
Melee, Superior DMG (Smash), Foe Disorient
Special: Eagle's Claw has an exceptionally good critical hit capability for Scrappers, better than other Martial Arts attacks, that can sometimes deal double damage. After using Eagle's Claw your damage will be increased for a brief moment for Tankers, allowing the next attack or two to cause additional damage.

A kick with the oomph on it. A side thrust kick the kind CoH had where you keep it folded as you charge up then release it. Should cause a knock effect.

I would love for a powerful set of 360 kicks...

Like the hurricane kick of Ken and Ryu... or the helicopter one of Chun Li just to add flavour (Could as well be the same power letting you choose the animation)

Another one I would love to see on the same vein of a 360? kick is this one from the 1:29 mark (Spinning Strike) just because it looks really brutal a backhand hit and then a kick... ouch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNiP-o-ajII

Maybe they should create alternate animations for the attacks already in the game, associate a kick with every punch and vice-versa and let you pick and choose per attack?

Oh wow.. One Hundred Hands as a kick?! LOL I'd LOVE that, just hover in the air and pummel everything xD
