I'm sure we'll get an update on them in the next SotG.

I hope they don't end up like fancy maces, like Lo Pan's giant two weapon staff of derpiness

Stupid thing is, wands are already in the game. The DEMON Initiates use them. Doesn't seem like it would have been that hard to port that over to player characters.

    Select Emanation Point
    Hand, Fist, Head, Chest, Wand

If wand is selected add a wand customization to the weapon tab.

    Lighten up Francis.

Don't presume that we "tolerate" such things. I certainly don't, and you'll notice that some of us used humor at the expense of Cryptic.

I know, I know. It's just... I look at the Smash Alerts & Grab Bags & Lock Boxes & Powerset negligence & costume piece restrictions & impossible Q-Store prices &... it just gives me a sad. :frown:

They already did put them in. You just need to use a Devastator or Heavy Weapon powers to use it. I'm being serious. That's what we ended up getting.

Last time I tried that, three guys hit on me.

Maybe I shouldn't have done it at a bar...

laugh at it or get depressed, which would you rather do?

I have enough depression IRL, I don't need it here too.

What's the big deal about getting the new telepathy powers? Seriously...what is that going to do to help the game? Getting new powers will not help with getting new missions, new zones, etc etc....it's just gonna let us do the same content over and over.

Placing a band-aid on a deep wound isn't fixing the problem.

And according to you, a new zone is ''the solution'' to our problems?

If a new zone gets released everyone will just play it for a week or so, after which it will become another Vibora Bay: completely deserted.

Never said it was "the solution". A new zone will not fix everything wrong with the game, that's why I added the "etc etc'. The game needs a lot of TLC from the devs, not just spattering of effort here and there.

And part of that TLC is the telepathy changes they've been talking about forever. Telepathy changes that were actually on the PTS not so long ago but were pushed back. You know about that part right? The part where the Telepathy changes are practically ready-to-go, unlike new zones, new missions, and etc etc

I didn't forget. It's hard to when it seems like every thread gets derailed by the telepathy rallying cry. (oh the irony)

Don't mistake this as me not wanting the telepathy powers, cause I do. I'm just getting tired of the pointless posts and comments. I doubt it's even budging the devs any when they see a flood of hashtags bombarding every other threads.

On topic. If they ever truly got emanation points nailed down, the promised wands, and even ring animations, would be a great addition, as long as we could emanate any kind of blast power from them.

Spam is against the rules, whether anyone reads it or not. Injecting the same subject into every thread that's not even about that subject is spam.

I'm beginning to think that the devs rarely ever look at these boards. Sure, one made a comment a couple months ago when they were accused of not reading them at all, but it's clear it's not a common occurrence.

Was I defending spam? Hm... could have sworn I was just giving a common sense solution to an easily solved problem. But hey, you're the boss :)
