Not the right time to finish, IMO

In the patch: One mission

Still a ton of bugs, most players are stuck with farming/game switching after hitting 40 a few times.

The last time I was in the game I heard it only has one dev.

I see stagnation, like the game is finished. The game is an MMO. It's not a game that needs not to be cared about after its release.

Another thing, quite a large part of the community recently came from CoH. Now what they see is one dev, months of waiting between minor patches.

We need more content. More permanent things, actual major updates. This is a great game and I would really hate to see my #1 game get abandoned/shut down.

Before someone says:

"What do you have to say, silver kid" I've played the game for more than a year and half, and paid quite a bit for it too.

"They need time, can't you see?!" Read the first three lines once again.

"They have better things to do" They made this game. They made an MMO. And if they want gamers and customers, the game needs updates...
Note: You have much, much better things to do if you say...

    Having active communication with active devs didn't work out so well for us CoHers.

    The Incarnate system was nothing but raid or die, go the "solo and small team" route and you'd best not look at the numbers since what a raider could do in a few hours would take you a month of running Heather till your eyes bled.

    See, CO is currently still active, that's a big plus over a dead game.

    They have a point, unlike this thread.

    Complaint threads are like that pile of "phone bills" in the background of a Vonage commercial and the ones making these threads are the "customers" in the commercial making a big deal about adding their last phone bill before switching to Vonage to the pile.

    I probably live somewhere else than you, and I did not catch the reference. My giving a damn about replies like this is very limited though, so I don't need an explanation.

    The point is these sort of complaint threads are a dime a dozen, you're not having the impact you think you are by making one at this stage of the game's life cycle; you're just adding to the giant pile.

    I know there have been a few threads about it. It's just my opinion. "IMO" in the title.
    Zero expectations on any impact.

    On top of that, the OP offers nothing. At least in all of the other complaint threads the OP offered what he/she thinks will fix the game.

    As far as the lack of updates, if you have paid any attention to the forums here you would know that the latest patch has been pushed back due to improvments being made to the final Lemurian invasion mission.

    These changes came because many players have been testing it and found many problems and they have been working to fix those problems.

    Right now we are really in the position of having to wait for NWO to come out. Then we can see if we get our Devs back. Then perhaps things will pick up. If we dont get Devs back then we can all go Doom and Gloom.

    Yes, you gave your opinion on the state of the game. Others noted that you are not alone in your opinion as this has been said repeatedly for a very long time now. You then went on the defensive about other people's opinion about your opinion and the expression thereof (interesting)...which is also exactly the way the other recent threads in this vein have gone.

    An irrelevant difference. There's a difference between offering constructive criticism, and just complaining, which is much more relevant to what's going on here and the responses you've gotten.

    Also, there are currently 7 other threads in the CO Discussion section that address what's wrong with the game and how to fix it. How did you miss those?

    I'd hardly call those 59 people (currently) on my list for having lots of 40's as "stuck", they appear to be very busy!

    All of these points I agree strongly with.

    FYI, several of us listed & explained our top five things we wish to see fixed/improved in 2013... Oh wait what was Roughbearmatch saying that you called him out for not reading similar threads? hehe

    I can understand your frustration when other posters aren't reading for comprehension, but you need to understand that an unstructured rant (while great for you and I encourage venting on forums) will have most people skimming it because they've seen this for the 100th time now -- an unoriginal topic.
    Do you have several level 40s?
    Consolidate the currencies! (Please!)
    Does your Champion have a theme song? (share it!)
    Got a funny in-game screenshot? (share it!)
    Please fix the Overdrive energy unlock! (Should help promote thematic build diversity!)
