Super Soldier inspired build

So I am working on a super soldier style tank build. Basically, something that doesn't look thematically too martial artsy, but I also don't want to be knocking enemies all over the place like Superman.

This is what I have been working on so far. Survivability is great it seems. Damage is so so, but to be expected for a tank I guess. Not too sure about the last two powers. Also not too sure about haymaker. Tapped, it fits the theme, but is otherwise....being haymaker when charged. Was wondering maybe go demolish instead? Hoping to get some opinions on a few tweaks to it.

I'd take both Haymaker and Demolish. Nullifying Punch (the Trauma debuff) is great on Haymaker, and Below the Belt is great on Demolish. Demolish actually gives two separate debuffs, one for All damage (default) and Below the Belt gives one for Crushing damage. This will boost all of your other damage, and thus threat, greatly.

Since you actually have the Defiance passive, Surge of Strength is wasted on Defensive Combo. Take R2 for more threat. Couple that with the 2 debuffs that Demolish (Below the Belt) gives... and you're golden on threat.

You also don't need Crippling Challenge on two abilities. Just leave it on Defensive Combo. Remember the bonus threat applies on every hit. Only the taunt part has a cooldown.

I was always hesitant to take The Elusive Monk or Laser Knight on a Tank build, since lowered damage = lowered threat. One little trick I started doing was setting up one Build with the basic Block, and another Build with which Block Enhancer so I could swap between more defense and more threat easily.

As for Specs, I'd swap Precise in Sentry for Reinforce. With Primary DEX, that's going to proc a lot. Combat Training is.. meh. DEX gives crit already. Those points are better spent elsewhere. 3/3 Gear Utilization and 2/2 Brush it Off would be my picks.

For your final power pick (assuming you pick up Demolish and keep Haymaker), I'd go with an Active Offense. First, threat buff. Very useful since you have IDF instead of an offensive Form (Form of the Tempest would work great in this build). Second, Hold breaker. Holds really suck as a Tank.

Another thing that's really playstyle... You could go with SS INT instead of PRE, and run Hybrid role since you have Bulwark. Take a +Healing Primary Offense, and both a +Crit and +Heal Secondary Offense (swap out as needed). You get more CDR and Cost Discount, while keeping similar healing as Secondary PRE. And because of the +Healing gear, you can swap to Protector if you need a larger health pool (Gravitar) and still have good bonus healing. Use Talents to maximize PRE, too.
